Round 2 Ironton vs. New Lexington at JACKSON

Bruiser, how about reading what I type instead of what you think or perceive that I type. I did not say that New Lex was the better team on Friday night only. I said the better team won the game Friday night because the game took place on Friday night. You really need to do something about that chip on your shoulder. My true opinion is that if those teams play 10 times, Ironton wins maybe one or two at best. Is that enough for you or is that another slight because I didn't say that New Lex would destroy Ironton 9 of the 10 times while Ironton may have stayed within 20 points one out of ten times?

Who does TC blame for all those mistakes the Tigers made ? I do not know. I think NL was better prepared for what Ironton was going to do on offense and defense , than Ironton was prepared for what NL was going to do on offense and defense. NL offense was shifty (and they executed well ) and their defense was confusing, I beleive. And NL seemed to have a lot of heart. Congrats and hope we meet again !! And while we are on it, I saw Turk dressed up like a bannana. I have not seen a raincoat like that in 30 years !!

I see there are still some Ironton fans who can never give credit was due. And then they wonder why fans at other schools loathe them so much. Arrogance is such a lovely trait.

New Lex did exactly as I suspected they'd do to Ironton. And they'd do it again at a far higher rate than 3 of 10. Unless all 10 games were at Tanks, and the IHS history department officiated all 10. Then maybe they'd only win three.
So, to those who believe only Ironton ever beats Ironton, I remind you that basketball practice starts Monday.

Geez. Try a dose of humility. Some of you are such an embarrassment to your school. You treat your football history like it's a birthright, and that the rest of us should simply genuflect.

I'm not saying all Ironton fans are that way but that was sad that everyone started leaving. No wonder the kids lost their cool in the 4th.

Thief, I made the comment about ZV's post because I thought it was warranted. I don't need to read 80% of the Ironton posts on here because I realize there are fans from every school that are unrealistic and make outrageous claims about their own school. Don't lump every poster who supports that school into such a group.

HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE YET TO COMMENT YET ON NEW LEXINGTON GAME. NEW LEX HAS A WONDERFUL PROGRAM. WE GOT WHIPPED SOUNDLY. I DON'T KNOW IF THE PANTHERS CAN HANG WITH THE STUEBENVILLE'S ANSD COLDWATER. BUT U HOPE THAT THEY DO. THEY PLAYED GOOD SOLID FOOTBALL, AND PROTECTED THE BALL. WE HAD TOO MANY DROPPED PASSES, AND CONTINUED TO TRY TO RUN WITH 11 MEN IN THE BOX.
