Two years in a row would be a great accomplishment for the Pointers! I hope they can pull it off! Win or lose, I am very proud of the guys from South Point this year :-D They have played some really tough teams. Goodluck Pointers!!!

I dont know a lot about either team but I will say that playing for a conference championship should make for a good game.........

playoff implications also come into play for Rock Hill so this should be one of the better games of the year...........

good luck to both teams.........

I have not seen much leadership on the field this year none has tried to get the others fired up or anything it doesn't matter what the game is weather they are winning by 21 or losing by 3 they stay in the same mind frame. I have no kids playing ball for RH but I have been to every game except 2 Fairland and Valley. I think this team could have went 10 - 0 this year no doubt in my mind they have the talent and coaches. but r lacking leadership on the field. some may disagree with me which is fine everyone has there opions. I like the hill in this one. GO HILL BABY BEAT THE POINTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am making this comment now cause in the playoffs we will new alot of leaders on the field

If RH plays the way they did against CG, SP will win big. SP like us are playing for a share fo the OVC but most important they are wanting to take our chances of the play offs away. RH can win big but they have to play like they can and not like they did against CG and West. Do they deserve a share of the OVC if they win, this is not professional football so the answer is yes. The same way SP will deserve it if they win. Lets hope for a fun competitive game with no injuries. Remember that these are kids playing because they love the game. Go Hill, win big.

Should be a very good game....I know that SP is fired up and ready to play! Coach Shilot has the kids practicing very hard this week. If the South Point that plays smart and hard shows up, it will be a great game. As one poster put it, let's have a great, safe, competative game between the two schools - Leave it all on the field and may the best team win!

I have to say that we really do not know what goes on that field. According to the coaches the boys are fine in the leadership area and have told the boys so. What matters most is that they work as a team and I think they have.

No one can doubt the leadership off the field... RH has some quality leaders by example... but I believe RH40 is referring to the vocal leadership that seems to be lacking... I understand it happened ina urgents situation at Oak Hill at Halftime, but it isn't consistant. There are some guys on every team that when they speak up it's like EF Hutton... everybody listens... I would love to see them speak up more... whoever THEY are. Notwith a condemning tone, but just getting fired up when a good hit is made or a stop is needed!!! I miss the Jenkins kid... he was like that!

I'm an Ironton supporter but I am here to tell you, the pointers will win this one. Unless RH's D steps it up, South Point will run all over them. Now, it makes no difference to me who wins but I just really believe the outcome of this game will be something like SP 21 Rock Hill 7. Good luck to both teams, hoping for a good injury free game.

I have faith in the Hill and that the boys esp. the senior boys will want this bad enough that they will come out on top at the end with the win. I want to wish good luck to my nephew who is a senior this year  Zornes and to a duke buddy of mine Pierson :-D

It will be interesting to see how rockhill bounces back from a devastating loss. I think south point will come out more ready to play and get the win.

I'm probably going to catch some flack for this, but you kept say "how they played against Coal Grove.." Are you inferring that the only reason they lost to Coal Grove and/or West is because the Redmen didn't play good? In other words, the loss didn't have anything to with the performance by the other teams, but because Rock Hill didn't play good ?

I think that is what they are saying. Of course they are blaming the loss on their poor play not the winning team playing better. Don't you know you have to blame somebody! ;-) ;-) So who do you think will win CGHornet 10?

I work with a lot of Redmen fans who will tell you that RH just could not stop CG's running game. I think if there was a game in which RH would play hardest, it would be that game, hands down. So, I don't know why some of the posters on here would infer anything less than CG was the better team. ;-)

Well, SP is primarily an all running team as well so they better be practicing their run defense. I bet we don't have 200 yards passing for the whole 9 games combined. I just hope it doesn't get rainy and cold. I can handle the rain but not when it is cold.
