the numbers have been good. Ethan Hockett and Jordan Crabtree are the leaders by far in that weight room, along with the rest of the senior class. The juniors have been there religiously also

Seth Howard is a big leader coming back from the last years playoff team.

Looks like they have had some good teams. Has it always been like that?

Good teams scattered out through the years, and a few years not to be so proud of, Minford has just recently been building its football tradition in the past decade.

Theres a whole new attitude in Minford now, and the boys are flocking to play for coach daniels. Numbers has been the number one problem in the past few years that haven't had much success.

Minford has had talent, it just hasn't all been on the football field.

The 2006 team had only 5 or 6 seniors, I believe 2 of them went on the play at the next level. Just imagine how the team could have been if more had been on the field on Fridays with this bunch.

The 2007 team went 8-2 in the regular season, going to the playoffs.

I believe we are heading in the right direction.

:-D Numbers are a big part of it but remember.
Its not the size of the dog in the fight, Its the size of the fight in the dog, and it sounds they got a lot of fight.

Numbers were a huge part of the problem. When you have less than 20 upperclassmen, and also a team that is frequently hit hard by the injury bug, a lot of inexperienced younger kids have to step in.

That is true injury's can bring down teams with big numbers. So a small team can be crushed by 2 or 3. I'm glad that there numbers are going up. If they work hard at conditioning and taking care of there body's maybe the ijury's will go down.

It will be key for the offensive line to stay healthy next year. Especially, Seth Howard and Ethan Hockett, the anchors of the o-line.

I think Hockett is moving to Tight End. Who is Howard?

There is no possibility that Hockett will be TE, he is too big and strong to not be on the line full time. And Seth Howard was the starting center last year, pretty good too.
