Week 5 and Week 9 should shape up to be very good games on a nice schedule.

Week 1: AT Wellston
Week 2: AT Chillicothe
Week 3: West Jefferson
Week 4: Western Brown
Week 5: AT Wheelersburg
Week 6: Warren
Week 7: Logan
Week 8: Meigs
Week 9: Cincinnati Winton Woods
Week 10: Cabell Midland (WV)

I don't think anyone can knock that schedule overall.

Wheelersburg has had Jackson's number lately, with the exception of 2014. That will be another HUGE game. Chillicothe and West Jeff will be tough challenges as well. Winton Woods is arguably the toughest game, in my opinion. They play one heck of a schedule, and as mentioned above, they have a lot of talent returning. And finally, right after that, you have a AAA WV state semifinalist from last year in Cabell Midland. Jackson is going to have a VERY good football team, but it's also tough to run through a gauntlet like this. If they can survive and advance to the playoffs, I believe they will be as prepared for the post-season as they have ever been.

D1 points. Parkersburg is considered D1 in Ohio and Midland is the biggest school in WV. Parkersburg south is the 5th biggest in WV and considered D2 in Ohio

This is the mother load of Harbin points. The only thing that sucks is Midland only gives 9 games since the wv bye week but 8 times 6.5 is still a lot and divisor will be 99 instead of 100

Cabell Midland open week is WV week 11,
which is a week after the Ohio regular season is finished,
so the divisor should be 100 for Ohio Harbin Points.
and it should be 10 games and 9 times 6.5

As a Southern Ohio fan I hate to see the fade of the SEOAL. Now it isn't dead yet however there might be positives somewhere in this for Jackson. This forces them to find a lot of non league games. So they could and should schedule tough opponents like they are to get them ready for depl runs in the playoffs every year. And who knows maybe one magical year will happen for them.

Jackson should charge an extra buck at the gate to pay for these teams to come in.Just might be a blessing in disguise not having a conference, just schedule 7 home and 3 away games and pay 4-5 grand for those teams to come to Jackson. That will work fine for football.

Now that is a good question,
What is Cabell Midland getting from Jackson in terms of money to agree to a 1 year contract at Jackson?
That part I don't know the answer too, cause I don't discuss money terms with the WV coaches that I have as great contacts,
I just discuss possible games, dates, home and away for any WV team looking for a game.

I heard $2500 and the ripped up turf from the spring.

Midland wouldn't need any type of turf, they have the latest brand of turf on their field at Ona, WV

Jackson should be good again in 2016

But let's please stop this talk about how much better they'll be in 2016.

If they're as good as 2014-2015 I'll be happy

Lol. Stop with the "let's lower expectations", or at least wait till August Poo.

You are going to be very happy.

Don , trust me I hope they're that good and expectations are always sky high but Jackson lost a ton of 3 year starters .

I thought 2014 was the best team from Jackson
