Just read where Marietta will wear a purple and white 45 sticker on their helmets in honor of Corey Kissling when the Tigers host Logan October 3. Very Classy.

It was mentioned in an article in today's Logan Daily News about Corey.

Very classy, it's exactly what I would expect from an Andy Schob coached team.
Heck, the whole league should do it. After all, he was one of "ours."
Way to go Marietta.

It's important to remember too that Portsmouth lost their #45 as well. I don't think anyone expects Marietta to recognize it in 2008, since they never competed against Wes Workman and Portsmouth the last two seasons, but the rest of the league who DID see Wes and Corey play, should remember both individuals however they see fit.
It's incredibly classy move by Coach Schob and his staff. I know that Corey's family and many in Hocking County are, and have been amazed by the support shown by folks throughout Southeastern Ohio. It is difficult to lose anyone, especially a kid like Corey who had an impact on so many lives, but the out pouring of support is greatly appreciated.
