in your first example, if the school bus is late, it is not counted against any kid that is riding that day. second example, (i assume these are high school kids because everybody has been bringing up the kids driving thing), what would happen if it was your employer? 3 words, do your maintenance. leave a little earlier. heaven forbid anybody would want to teach these kids some responsibility, and not just these kids, all students.

When I'm late for work they dock my pay they don't fire me. These are kids not adults supporting a family.Another thing is everybody is treated the same at work this rule only punishes a select few.
