Nothing upsets me more than an injury to a player. These kids work hard and to get hurt takes alot out of the family and friends. i wish him the speediest of recovery anf pray for complete healing. i also pray for his parents in this time of concern.

Hate to see any kid get injured.Get well sooon to both of these young men from this house.As to length of time to heal, depends on injury: "torn kidney" is it torn as in ligment suspension of kidney or laceration of kidney' one is at least 4-6 weeks the other is a longer recovery time.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who called, visited and kept him in your prayers. Kruize is resting comfortably at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. He has a tear in his left kidney. As of tonight everything is looking up and no surgery will be needed. If everything goes as planned, he will be released to go home Monday night.

We have been overwhelmed with all of the visits and calls from his friends and teammates as well as all of the prayer requests on this site.

Upon returning to Gallipolis, he is on complete bedrest for 2 weeks. For this reason alone, he will not be allowed to attend Friday night's game in Logan. His heart will be with his teammates while he will be at home rooting for the blue and white.
