Give it up. You tried this on another thread and it is not going to work. Not that there ever really was, but what distractions there may have been are OVER. Get it...OVER. The only thing the so called distraction did was make this team closer, stronger, and deeper. It is a clique', but there truly is no I with this team. They are a TEAM. You are not going to change it.

Hype if you want, but I won't address this again and I would encourage all Minford posters to disregard any posts from this guy. He's just trying to stir the pot and it won't work.

Did someone say the Oaks haven't beaten anyone? Who has Minford beaten? River Valley, who scored first in that game, Huntington wow!!! Let's see, oh Wellston . . . they have not won a game. Must be Coal Grove, who drove the ball all night long on Minford only to make silly mistakes and not get in the endzone! Coal Grove only has one win this year. Neither team has really beaten anyone at all. I would like to ask the Minford faithful . . . why are you so torn up about the Williams boys? If memory serves me correctly, you thought your team was going to be all that long before they "transfered" (term used very lightly) to your school. Now with them out or back which ever it might be, you guys are ready to take off. My understanding is this, the state hasn't made a determination on their status as of yet. I think it will be a good game. I watched the Oaks play Rock Hill and they physically beat them down. I know Rock Hill is young and all that, but they are still Rock Hill and will hit with the best of them. Oak Hill beat them up! I think it will be very very close.

Da Bears. For what its worth wellston and coal grove can beat oak hill. Coal Grove had less than 200 yards of offense against minford last week. they didn't drive it down our throats or whatever you implied. How bout we let the kids settle it on the field. We'll find out whose good and whose not so good on friday night.

Do you really think that Coal Grove didnt score because of silly mistakes? You OBVIOUSLY were not at that game. Coal Grove didnt score because they were STOPPED at the one yard line on 4th and goal, and STOPPED again on the other end of the field on 4th and goal.

Oak Hill is going to see speed, speed and more speed. There is going to be so much misdirection the D line isnt going to know where the blocks are coming from.

I think that if this Oak Hill QB that is highly touted has a great game he will keep it close, because Minford has been slowed by a passing game.

Minford should be able to wear Oak Hill's D down throughout the game by consistently putting in fresh sets of legs in the backfield, sets of legs that can break a big play at any time. They are very deep at RB and you will see the entire Defense from week one this Friday night.

Minfords secondary didn't impress me againt Coal Grove and the passing game is not at all Coal Groves game. I think Minford will win this game but, come time when Minford plays a really good passing team things could get bad.

Minford will be full strength this week. Everything should be finalized this week on the two boys at Minford and no games will be taken away. Minford will come out with a different attitude this week and should win by three TDs.

Things to watch: two DE for Oak Hill are 6-6 225 it will be hard to throw over them. One is also a TE, big target. QB is good and at 6-4 can see the field well.
Oak Hill returns 14 starters from last years 5-5 team. They have around 42 on the roster. Their O-line is thin, not much depth after the starters and may not be at full strength. They run the base 4-4 Defense. Minford better be ready to shut down the pass and force them to run it. I believe Minford will wear them out on the ground. I would like to see Minford pass more with the QB dropping straight back instead of boot legging, it seemed to work well last week.

If you would have noticed, Coal Grove's two big pass plays at the beginning of the game came when Minford only had two DB's in the game. They were in a 5-4 package. Minford's Pass D will receive a boost when Aaron Williams gets back in the lineup, which will be this Friday.

Minford to fast ... homecoming ... full roster ... minfords running game will not be stopped all night ... the oaks might get a few points through the air but not near as many as the falcons will get on the ground ... and fyi minfords passing game didnt look to bad last week eather. Minford comes out amped up and plays like we all know they are capable of it wont be close.
