Re: Wheelersburg Pirates 2009 Season
To my understanding Wheelersburg and Greenup are not playing this year and Wheelersburg is still looking for someone to play. It will be hard to find someone close because no one will play them. It should be interesting to see who they find.

When did Wheelersburg play Coldwater? Was it within the past 10 years? Also, Kenton, although a fine program, is not in the same leauge as: St. Henry, Coldwater, Marion Local-Maria Stein, Delphos St. Johns, Versailles, New Bremen, and Anna.....
Re: Wheelersburg Pirates 2009 Season
The burg has had some good matchups in the playoffs with versailes over the yrs. I think their program has fallen on some hard times the last few yrs since their longtime coach retired.

Wheelersburg played Coldwater in 1995 second game of the year Coldwater won 23-14. Lost to Kenton in 1997

The player I was talking to said it was Cleveland Central Catholic. Since another team from Cleveland was mentioned, I guess we'll have to wait till the schedule comes out.

Talked to one of the coaches---- he said it looked like they are going to have about 17-19 seniors, 16 juniors and about 10- 13 soph. Freshman numbers might be around 25. They had about 30 last year could loose a few -though. Great numbers
