What are you a psychic? You can see the future? :122246 The contract was up,time to get a new team on the schedule, not because Minford was scared of the big bad Hornets.

I couldn't care less either way. I'm just telling you what I've heard from several different sources - one very, very good source.

Hopefully we will find out if Minford is scared of Coal Grove in the playoffs next year.

Wouldn't mind seeing a rematch this year! :122249 8)

After all, if the season ended today, it'd be Coal Grove @ Minford. :-D
I love watching both teams play.

I agree completely! But I think the Falcons would like to see an Minford-Oak Hill rematch after that bad taste they left in our mouths up there.

Fuzz if you don't like the way some minford fans are its pretty simple don't read it or before you come on here and talk trash about a team make sure your team can do better than 0-4 against them. I highly doubt that is the reason they dont play next year, but of course good luck to anyone trying to get that through to you. Im sure you're right tho coach Daniels probably did go to the ad this past offseason and said "please don't schedule coal grove next year, they are going to be so much bigger, stronger, and faster then everyone. we might have to call up the buckeyes to beat them"

Didn't talk trash about Minford. OST ran his mouth about CG fans saying things that weren't said on here and I simply reminded him of the topic of the thread. I've NEVER talked trash about Minford and you know that.
Like I said earlier, I don't care what the reason was. All I know is what I heard from different people from up that way. So I really don't care what you have to say about it. I doubt you have nearly as much knowledge of this as some of the sources I've heard from. So. . . you can take that any way you want to. This is a Minford/Region 19 thread. I'm a fan of region 19 so I'm not going anywhere. Now, you can keep on whinning or you can add something intellectually stimulating to the conversation. I don't care either way. . .

Very true. I guess it just depends on what side of the fence you're on.

You must be good friends with one of parkes 7th period workers? Or better yet parkes himself

I do agree with you that it would be one helluva a playoff game between these two teams this year, the atmospher would be unreal for that game. Hopefully it happens but as long as we get another shot at the Oaks!

I was on the chain gang when this happened. The Minford coach was putting in clean jerseys midway through the second quarter to keep from running up the score on RV worse than it was. I doubt seriously if there was one player on the sideline who did not hit the field. It was a mistake of omission rather than commission. He told me personally that he had not brought his freshman and was very concerned about the appearance that he was taking advantage of his team's strength over a much weaker opponent.

Although it may turn out to be a costly mistake, it was honorable in its intent.

Coal Grove has to get by a tough Fairland team in week 10 or they won't be going to the playoffs. Oak Hill has to get by Symmes Valley and Burg needs to win out against Waverly, Valley and West, all of which have to come to the Burg.

Alot of rematches that teams would love to see. Burg-Minford, Minford-Oak Hill, Coal Grove-Minford. Hopefully if Burg and Minford do play again it will be in week 2 of the playoffs. I'll be in Myrtle Beach for the first week of playoffs games. :-D

The main thing though is all of those teams, except probably Minford need to win out to make it. If either Burg, CG or Oak Hill all lose between now and then, get out the bballs early. They won't be going.

This region will be changing positions of the teams each week. Nothing is set in stone yet in this region. Should be an exciting last three weeks

Barring upsets, I see Coal Grove and Wheelersburg getting in and Nelsonville-York and Ridgeweed getting knocked out.
