There are other people who coach teams in this league who portray themselves however they can as pretty special.

The better team lost tonight. Waited to long to start playing football and let poor officiating get to them instead of staying focused. Great game to watch. Big win for Meigs.

Injury bug hit Meigs again. Linebacker KJ Tracy didn't return for the 2nd half and it showed tremendously.

Of course! Poor officiating. It's always poor officiating!

Anyway, what a wild game! I do think Meigs is the better team, but I won't say RV didn't deserve to win that game the way they played the second half. it was a complete reverse of roles only difference being Meigs 1 second half score we just enough to make the difference. Both teams played hard. Meigs just has to learn to play with a lead. That screen pass on 1st and 10 with 5 minutes left in the game and up two scores was a disaster! Of course RV returned the fumble for a touchdown. Man RV played with some major heart, but they really just couldn't overcome the disastrous first half they had. Did they have five turnovers in the first half? Anyway, it was one thing after another. I do think the game ended up about where it should have in the end, although it looked as though it was going to be an absolute rout by the Marauders.

Meigs plays awesome ball in the first half of the games...So far this season we have outscored our opponents 95-14 in the first half (Amanda Clearcreek) being the ONLY team that has scored on us in the first half of play.

Now the bad part, We have been outscored 107-47 in the 2nd half of these ball games.

Fix this and we just might be okay.

We've given up 75 second half points the last two weeks. Teams are adjusting well to us.

We are rock solid against the pass, put in another linemen and it might help stop that down your throat run.

Meigs has the worst defense I have ever seen. And their play calling is god awful. Again Meigs lives and dies on big plays and they are a terrible 2nd half team. Meigs may have one more win and that's Alexander.

You haven't seen many teams play then, cause we have a bad run defense, we are rarely passed on. we need some work done on the line and healthy linebackers, losing Cody at Linebacker was HUGE, And to say we live by the big plays, we threw the ball deep twice last night, one was caught, other then that we threw the ball a total of 10 times, that's not living by the big play...In Vinton County we went deep 3 times...2 were caught for wide open touchdowns and the other was intercepted off a deflected player...How is it we live off the Big Plays???

I will agree that we are a bad 2nd half team....the good thing about that is something like that can be worked on and fixed.

Tough Games ahead for sure.
