Even if waverly would have scored to go ahead the Burg got the ball after that and drove straight down the field and scored with ease!! Waverly is a very fast and great team Burg had a few hiccups but so did waverly but now its week #8 and Minford week and the Pirates jv squad will get some playing time in the 2nd half of this game because Burg wins in a big way !

A 6-0 Coldwater team lost 18-33 to a 2-4 Minster team this past Friday night. The Cavs were picked to win by 29 or more, so anything can happen any given Friday night. I know this is gonna be a tall task for the Falcons, but I hope Minford plays hard for 4 quarters, never gives up and maybe they can pull off an upset like Minster did with Coldwater.

Has nothing to do with the Waverly game . Burg won that game . Congrats it was a great game. We need teams to get better in southern Ohio, and Waverly seems to be on the right track.

They are 5-2 and struggled to beat an oak hill team that burg smashed. They lost to a Rock Hill team that ironton handled easily and we all know hat burg did to ironton. It is what it is. Minford got beat by rock hill, who lost to Ironton, which burg beat bad. It's a tough road but they have a team that could advance to the state semis once again. Plus game is at home. Burg won't pour it on but it will be a rout.

I think you are in the right PB. Several Burg fans on this site are totally disrespectful. Minford isn't as good as a 5-2 record and will get handled by a good burg team. But to say it like these posters do is arrogant and wrong. Karma is a ____.

And while we're on burg. They have problems of their own. Their interior defense is as soft as a jelly roll. Waverly isn't known as a physical team, but they ran simple zone plays from the pistol down burgs throat. Offensive line is weak too. Offense is being dictated by a really good quarterback running the ball. He gets dinged and it's over.

I personally dont think burg got embarrassed last year. They simply hot beat by a better team. Losing in the playoffs isnt at all embarrassing to me. Especially if it's in the state semi finals. Burg doesn't always run the offense the way they did at Waverly. Burgs coaches had a game plan to control the clock so burg ran the ball more, you obviously haven watched burg much.
