Re: Week 4: oakhill (0-3)@wellston (1-2)
Congrats to the Wellston team on the win. The game was more competitive than the final score indicates but the Rockets were the better team last night.
Oaks showed improvement on the offensive side of the ball. Defense needs to show a little more "want to" on every snap of the ball. There are play makers on that side of the ball. They need to bring it more consistently on every snap of the ball. QB looked more comfortable, game plan utilized skill players more effectively and gave all skill players an opportunity to make an impact.
Football is still indeed a game of inches and seconds. Several plays were an inch or a second away from being non-factors but turned into big plays for the Rockets. Take away 4 or 5 mental/physcial break downs by the Oaks and the score is a lot closer than the final.
Oaks are improving. The game was lost but the season is still salvagable. Keep looking ahead there is a light at the end of the tunnel. TURN IT ON!!!!!!!

Oaks did a very good job with the short passing game in the flats in the first half. Rockets did a very good job making adjustments at halftime to stop that. Nice win Rockets!! Keep it up

The Oaks showed some real life on offense at times, but the defense allowed too many big plays for the Rockets. I liked how the Oaks went for it (and converted) on 4th downs too. Hate to lose, but the Oaks are getting better. Best wishes to the Rockets for the rest of their season.
