BEST 80'S FOOTBALL TEAMs

At one time, there was a website featuring Cincinnati Moeller football. It maybe still exists, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, whoever set it up proclaimed Moeller to be the winningest team of the 70s and also the 80s. I did find the following interesting blog which says in part

"Algebra teacher Gerry Faust built a football program from scratch in the 1960s and molded Cincinnati Moeller into Ohio's winningest football team of the 1970s (103-7) and '80s (98-12), including a remarkable 71-game regular-season unbeaten streak from 1978 to '85."

So the "winningest team" won 98 games in the 80s. However, Ironton Football Dot Com shows that Ironton won 103 games in the 80s!

Does this mean that Ironton is the winningest team of the 80s? Maybe not... I once read that another team won even more than that; but the details have faded from my memory.
