Trimble is excited about the opening game because that game is basically their entire season. It is the only exciting game they play. Week 1 is the NY Buckeyes! Week 2-10 is the boring old SVAC, I mean TVC Hocking! Be sure to bring your jammies and blankies with you the last 9 weeks of the season, because that is going to be a genuine snooze fest! ;-)

Week 2 vs Wahama won't be a snooze fest. Trimble will be lucky to come away with a win. Word is Wahama don't have River Valley or any christian schools for scrimage games so they may be a little more ready come opening season.

I agree BishTakes it should be a nail bitter but I hope my cats pull this one out this year. Last year was a great game and both teams played their hearts out to bad one team had to lose. Heard the Buckeyes looked good today and so did the Cats once they got rolling and made a few small changes.
2 more weeks and we will see.
NY Buckeye 96 just because the you think Trimble has no more big games after NY. to you it doesnt really matter and to us it doesnt either. just like we don't really think that your games against wellston, meigs, alexander etc. are snore fests too.
In all seriousness we cant control our league and neither can you.
Remember all games to 15-18 year olds are serious and fun. Alot of great memories and lessons are learnt on a Friday night in Ohio Football.
Good luck to both teams and stay injury free.

Just got back from the NY/New Lex scrimmage and the bucks bring out another horse from the stable in Dustin Young. The 4-4 defense is new and with no practice in it..it showed in the beginning. Saw a lot of sucking water between plays so conditioning at this point needs to be addressed. Overall, Bucks "O" dominated. Going to be an exciting year against a bunch of good teams.
Onto the NY/Trimble game...we in Buckeye Nation know the Cats return a bunch. This game will be another "nail biter" as always and as it should be. Some of the prediction are ridiculous so all of you that are giving points by the margin that you are stating..I'll take the bet for any amount that you want to put up. Prediction....BUCKS WIN...by how many?...who cares...

Just sayin....

I think we should all be glad you dont coach. Drinking has nothing to do with conditioning. It has to do with heat. CATS WIN!

I bet the Trimble fans are thinking, "I can't wait until we consolidate with Nelsonville-York so that we can play all our home games at Boston Field!" :-D

If I remember correctly when Trimble last beat Nelsonville-York at home the was a bunch of trouble between the coach's and the Ref's. All I got to is say is that there better be extra cops at this one because anyone that bets Nelsonville at home it is always someone else's fault but their own.

Last one to leave Trimble township turn our the lights!

Tomcats Roll!

I got NY by 2 or 3 scores. They have a great chance to go 10-0 this year.

Will be interesting to see Dyla and Austin Keith on the turf at Boston field. Both have amazing speed.

Dyla folds like a lawn chair when he gets hit so I figure he will spent the whiole night sucking wind and in pain.
