no i had to work in ripley til 7 so it was too late to even make the trip....i thought about goin over there n watchin that poundin but didnt make it...did pratt play for eastern

Congratulations to Southern, respectable win. Belpre looked....well, I am disappointed they didn't improve from week 1. Southern did everything they could to keep it out of Belpre's key player's hands and their strategy worked. I am not sure that Southern is a good team, but they were a better team than Belpre last night. Again, congrats to the winners.

Nobody said Southern's football team was "awesome". No such thing as luck IMHO. And realistically, Southern probably won't win but 2-3 games. We can deal with it.

Southern just played a good game, they should've won last week, they beat themselves, and perhaps learned from their mistakes.

Give credit where it's due. Geez.

mabe i was being a little to harsh, belpre is down this year, thats all im saying. almost every team in the tvc hocking is down this year, so if they do win 2-3 games its because of that, i hope that southern does win most of there games, but i really dont think they will. but i do hope the best of luck to the tornado players.

OK, I understand.

It'll make an interesting year if all are mediocre. It will probably be Trouble winning it, but not because they're that dominant.

That's why we play the games instead of guessing them. You just never know. Case in point last night.

I always heard luck was when preparation meets opportunity. If that is true then southern had luck because they were very well prepared. This team is very young but have some seniors to lead them. One thing is for sure they will always be prepared going into every game. They showed Friday night that they have the heart to win they just have to bring that intensity every night. I feel this year could be a turning point for Southern Football. Good luck team and keep working hard!!
