I'd love to see Lawrence County's little next-door neighbor to the north bring a win home to Amish country, but I too think Eastern wins even though the way their fans are acting on here is in very bad taste.

Let's not suggest that all Eagle fans are over confident, or act in bad taste.

With that said:

Eastern should win this game easily.....IF... they play like they are capable of. Gotta control the line of scrimmage on offense and defense like they did against Waterford. They can't turn the ball over like they did against Miller. Like "gobucks31" said, the Eagles aren't good enough to just show up and win. They have to play physical Eagle Football like they did last week! They can't start slow, turn the ball over, or give the Rebels confidence by letting them hang around. If they do that, the scoreboard will be in their favor at the end of the night.

South Gallia, Belpre, Trimble, Sciotoville, Fed Hock, and Southern. I can see Eastern going 5-1 but it also wouldn't surprise me to see the go 4-2 with losses to Trimble and Sciotoville East.

If eastern is as dominant as certain eastern fans on here claim i don't see them have a problem with East. South Gallia was 4 critical turnovers away to winning this game. I just did not think East was all that special. I will give my opinion after friday.

East wasn't all that special, to be honest with you they were one of the worst East team I have ever seen. But it is never easy going to East and coming back with a win. It's just something about that place. And I just said it wouldn't surprise me if East would win, if i had to pick I would say Eastern would probably barely slide by them. And I think Eastern is getting "talked up" alot by their own fans who are probably just happy to see improvement in their football team. It's been awhile since the Eagles have fielded a winning team.
