Is basketball a sport???? Not really just winter conditioning for next Football season.

Nothing meant against basketball, but wouldnt the kids be better off in wrestling as a winter conditioner for football.
If basketball would be the winter conditioner for football, that wouldnt explain either team very well, would it?

All I know is I asked a former football player from Wellston who played college ball and was very good, what would be the best offseason workout to do, and he gave me just a simple answer. Wrestle! He said he'd never had a workout like that and if he said it I beleive it.

Um....One of VC best Football players it had in school history...witch made to college AND made a nfl team was a very good basketball player as well!!! so maybe talent is lacking in wellston?? Is that why U dont think its a sport???

If it still is, I'm going to give me opinion and say I believe it will be a hard faught rivalry game. I think both teams will be ready for this one. I think they match up better up front, rather than at the skill position. I look for Wellston's skilled players to perform well and that will be the difference Friday night. viking4life, who is the person form V.C. that played in the NFL? Just wondering?

jason caudill...was free agent by bengals wasent a career but atleast he made pro...both knees was bad and had to stop his career...he was in few games before was released due injury.
