21-0 Cavs Halftime. 2 passing td's and more West fumbling. They just can't catch a break.

West 24 carries for 25 yds...? Something is wrong with this picture?

24-7 Cavs 5:35 left in the 4th, I think that field goal is the nail in the coffin...

Yes, the next couple years will be rough, but when those boys get into HS watch out!

Really good effort last night. After they settled down they played good football. Actually had a chance driving into their territory down 21-7. Young team really stepped up. What a first start by Steven Irwin. We've found our quarterback for sure.

Yes, Irwin will be ok, just needs to get comfortable out there.
Also, with the athletic kids West has they shouldn't be getting beat by the pass like they are..?

3 sophs and a junior took most of the snaps in defensive backfield. First reserve corner is a soph.

Chillicothe has descent team speed, good quarterback, and can run the ball. Most of our problems are youth mistakes . Shut them down in second half.

I think we have more turnovers in 3 games this year than we had in 12 games last year. Irwin is going to be a great QB glad to see they let him get his feet wet. The position is in his blood alot of the oldtimers still say his grandpa was the best Qb we ever had. Hard to believe we threw the ball 25 times lastnight but it did open the run game up the second half. Maybe this could be the end of the 3 yards and a cloud of dust that we have seen forever. Maybe if we started running more of that type of offense we would learn to defend it better. The young kids sure have step up and played some good football, yes they have made some mistakes but have play well, also have shown lots of heart.

Portsmouth West starting to sling it around a lil bit huh? Nice, if those young kids can keep their nose to the grindstone, they could still be a thorn in the side during SOC play.

The thing is here, West still has a shot to win the SOC and end 7-3 with a possible shot at playoffs. Don't give up young men.
