This will be a tough game for the Tigers. Talking with some of the Ashland folks at work they said playing at Johnson Central is like playing at the Tank if you know what I mean. Ironton needs to wrap up and tackle and be prepared for a physical game in order to win this one.

Really?? I thought we had played them before. They're not all that far from Belfry - I thought we played both in the past.
My sister now teaches there - but I haven't talked to her recently.

Are they the team that Ironton played in the past, and the power went off during the game?

and it was a one point game, ironton was down by one. they had come storming back. our a.d. offered to put them up over night and cover all their expenses. to play the other half, they bailed because it was considered a win by kentucky rules.

JC will be no pushover for an ohio team. They have a great tradition and will pull no stops to beat a team like Ironton. Must play smart and Good luck to the TIgers!

i'm not the ad, just a fan, you'd have to ask him that question. frankly besides ashland, ky. i'd rather play all ohio teams. but it's no secret, we have trouble getting games, and we are right on the ohio river. so geographically they make sence.

Went down to JC for junior high game and it is quite a different atmosphere. Right before the game they play the saying off of Rudy were the coach says NOBODY COMES TO OUR HOUSE AND PUSHES US AROUND. Not really crazy about location better get there early did not care much for parking arrangements!!!!!!!!!

Basing this as not so difficult win for Tigers based on what someone said that saw this team several weeks ago. Not a very big line, QB not very good, not much speed.

HERE'S where to HEAR the game if you can't be there!!
ALMOST GAME TIME - GO IRONTON FIGHTING TIGERS
On the radio on WIRO 1230 AM - granted not a powerful station with wide range.
Jason Philyaw and Kevin Anthonee with the call - they're the best
But it's also on the internet: http://www.foxsports1230.com/main.html
Click on LISTEN LIVE at the top left corner then on PLAY STATION in the middle.
