Alexander at Vinton County
Re: Alexander at Vinton County
I agree. With the exception of a handful of seniors, VC basically has two Jv teams age wise. Things are looking up and it sounds as if they are at Alex too.

That young man is a Soph and his name is Bryce Martin.Dundas wrote:Someone help me out here. I can't remember his name, but he is a Sophomore just like our varsity quarterback. They could be a deadly 1-2 punch in a year or two similar to what Alex has now at the qb position.Alexander Hitman wrote:Dundas do you happen to know the QB for VC Jv ? he had a nice game

Transplant that was a really good game to watch was a lot of offense , not much defense.
Alexander's running game was clicking and the Martin boy made some really nice passes.

Yea all the D on friday night and was an exciting game. And all the offense on saturday. Sounds like both schools should really compete in the future. I look forward to watching these young men get after it in the future. It was a good weekend of compitition for both programs. Bryce may give old Long a run for his money in the future and if not he is an athlete and will be seeing the field a lot on Fridays. Both Coachs have to be excited for the future. The programs may be down this year but I feel like they both are on the rise. Good luck to Coach Arno and the Spartan Nation the rest of the year. See ya for Basketball.
