Re: PVC
Fort Frye has a bigger line this yr then they did the last 2 yrs when they made the playoffs. Just don't have Chandler and Spencer Lang.

Re: PVC
Fort Frye has a great Jr high team (5-0) vs Shenandoah (5-0) in Beverly Thursday. FF jr high lead by strong armed QB Tate Engle.

Re: PVC
PVC Man halfway point....
1. Monroe (I still think the best team didn't win on the scoreboard)
2. Caldwell ( better than I thought they would be, but still think they are overrated )
3. Frontier ( weak schedule so far)
4. BT ( I think they are a young and will get better each game)
5. FF ( would be last but the league still has the zeps in it)
6. Zeps ( when are they going to get any better. Not looking good at all.)[/quote]
Good call PVC Man

Re: PVC
Couple big ones this week in terms of playoff implications. Caldwell hosts Fort Frye, while Frontier takes on Valley (WV). Pasteur has Frontier in the 8th seed in his playoff projections at 6-4. Would be nice to see the PVC get 3 teams in, with Caldwell and Monroe Central in playoff contention as well.

Re: PVC
True, but more than likely they aren't going to end up as a 7-8 seed. Probably will end up somewhere in the 4-6 range. Last year they won a first round game as the 6 seed. Still not saying it would be easy, but something to be hopeful for.Wiskerbizket wrote:Im sure you do..I will root for them in post season .But be realistic there going to face either 1 or 2 seed..I can recall them going to fredricktown before..Wasnt good
Re: PVC
Have to agree on MC finishing in the 4-to-6 range in region IF they win out.
Caldwell has as good a shot as anyone winning a couple playoff games. I don't think they can beat Trimble, but if they can contain Dorris an 'W' vs. Shadyside is possible.
Frontier is playoff bound even with another annual loss to MC/Woodstick. What is that record vs. Circosta? 1-41?

Re: PVC
Frontier greatly improved their playoff chances with the win against Valley yesterday. Assuming they win one of the next two, we should be looking at 3 teams from the PVC in the playoffs.

Re: PVC
Caldwell rolled over West M last night 33-0. Lori had close to 200 yards and 5 TD's. Starting QB Clark didn't play in order to rest an ankle injury. Ridenour stepped in and played a solid game, accounting for over 100 total yards. Defense kept West M under 100 total yards of offense and forced 4 turnovers.

Re: PVC
Good luck to Caldwell tonight as they look to finish off an undefeated season by taking on rival Shenandoah.
