Maybe Akron St. Vincent in week six ? Your basketball team played with them ? Just say'n !
Re: Athens Bulldogs 2014
Problem for Athens is you take a couple of losses in this region and you might not make the playoffs. Zanesville is a coin flip game so the other opponent probably has to be someone you think you should beat and gives you some points.

Zanesville shouldn't be a "coin flip" game next year. Athens SHOULD win. Grandstaff and his staff have really done a great job at Zanesville, BUT,bman wrote:Problem for Athens is you take a couple of losses in this region and you might not make the playoffs. Zanesville loses a TON to graduation. They are always athletic, and Grandstaff has them playing really good defense year in and year out. But they will have a lot of rebuilding on offense. Again, lots of athleticism.
But Athens will be a big favorite against ZHS.
Re: Athens Bulldogs 2014
That would be a real interesting game. I imagine it would be at Steubenville since they always like to play most of its games at home.

Re: Athens Bulldogs 2014
They only play 3 road games a year so it would be at there place and from what I have heard there is plenty of home cookin thier.93Bulldog wrote:I have heard Steubenville could be a possible week 6 game.

Ironton makes the most sense and they will be a better team next year than what they were this past season.RAIDER6309 wrote:I'd like to see Athens play Steubenville. Huge points game

Re: Athens Bulldogs 2014
Problem is Ironton doesn't want to play. They would have made it happen already.
Re: Athens Bulldogs 2014
This is NOT to bash Ironton in anyway, but they will be only marginally better if any better at all. Playing Athens would be a mistake for both schools. Few points for Athens (with Irontons schedule, there are few opportunities for wins).
Re: Athens Bulldogs 2014
Joe Burrow receives another offer from Maryland. Both Lurhman twins receiving more looks from MAC schools and even Cincinnati, along with William's offer from OU.
I know on Friday nights everyone wants to see their own teams play, but if you get a chance next year, make a date to watch the Bulldogs. It will be worth your while, could be four D1 seniors for Athens.

But the skull and bones needs a football captain for the group. He is definitely making a long list of offers

Ivy League schools do not offer athletic scholarships. Just like NCAA DIII.

They can offer in the sense they want you to come to school. As a Junior, the admissions process has not even started at Yale or other Ivy's yet for the class of 2016.
