"It ALWAYS seems impossible until it's done ..." - Nelson Mandela

... read that this morning in the paper and thought of the Trimble Tomcats going up against the MAC Goliath Marion Local ... it would appear as usual that a SEO team has to do what seems an "impossible" , "undoable" feat ... guess what? the Tomcats have ALREADY done the impossible/undoable by being in the position they are! on the verge of a state championship!! Congratulations!!! now - Just Do It!!!

I believe!!
The Tomcats will take the fight to Marion Local Saturday night. These Cats won't lie down or roll over for any team.

God bless those young men because they put all of Athens county on there backs and said "follow us"
Piketons football coach brought me back a copy of the Canton Repository. In it there was an article about Marion Local. Here is word for word what their coach said, "We have great kids. We have great, strong families. We live in an area that is doing well economically. (Mercer County, which owned the lowest unemployment rate in the state in 11' and 12'.) That just leads to stability. Our kids don't go home and worry about certain things. They come from stable, two parent homes, where our kids can just be a kid. So I think that lends to some of our success."

He also complimented Trimble a lot, so I am not slamming him, I just wanted to put that out there because that has been my argument for years why Southeast Ohio teams struggle against other parts of the state.

Marion Local has 68% particpation for their football team, not just sports, but 68% of their boys play football. Football is a numbers driven game, you take a team that has 25 solid football players on it, against a team with 12 solid players, who is going to statistically be better? Especially in the lower divisions. Numbers even out as your enrollment goes up, so DII and DI dont have that issue as much.

These factors need looked at!
