I am sure that both teams have improved as the season went along and both are better than they were in week 4. Fairland definately has a nice offense, but they play little defense. I look for this to be a high scoring game, but I think Burg will move on to week 12.

I think this game will be a lot closer than some of the Burg homers think it will be, but unfortunately, I don't think our defense will be able to keep Burg out of the endzone for a couple of possession to let our offense get enough of a cushion and lead to pull off the upset. Burg by a TD or two.
Re: Week 11: #6 Fairland at #3 Wheelersburg
I agree. I don't see this being a blowout, but a couple scores could be a reality. I think the Burg offense may change it up a little and try to establish more of a running game if they do get up by a couple scores in the first half. As others have mentioned, the full house backfield looks pretty good with Parsley, Miller and Stone.dragonsfan24 wrote:I think this game will be a lot closer than some of the Burg homers think it will be, but unfortunately, I don't think our defense will be able to keep Burg out of the endzone for a couple of possession to let our offense get enough of a cushion and lead to pull off the upset. Did ticket prices go up again this year? $7 presale and $9 at the gate
Re: Week 11: #6 Fairland at #3 Wheelersburg
Burg line is a little different than the first time they played each other, correct? The Dragons and Pirates have plenty of similarites. If Fairland has improved on defense, then this could be the best game of the week.

Since my Tigers are not playing , this will be the game to watch IMO. I've seen Burg but have not seen Fairland. One team they have in common is Coal Grove. And fairland came out better than burg on that matchup. I think it's less than 7 pts and a toss up. I'm sure the over/under is 75+ but I think it's gonna be a low scoring night. Expected to be 35-40 by games end. I'm not sure the teams passing game will be its normal self.

So I cant support West football because I live in Lawrence County? I think I can.
I agree with what someone else said on here, this could potentially be the game of the week!

Why are you comparing common opponents when they played each other already?youthsportsfan wrote:Since my Tigers are not playing , this will be the game to watch IMO. Fairland wins this one! Fairland, with the help of players gone by such as Worm Leep and Mike Jackson, will help push to a 38-31 victory!!!!!!

Why would you not expect the passing game to be "normal"? The weather for Saturday is calling for 59 and sunny, so that shouldn't be a factor.youthsportsfan wrote:Since my Tigers are not playing , this will be the game to watch IMO. Just my thoughts. I hope I'm wrong hope both teams throw for 400+ yards. But I have a feeling 60 at 1pm 40 by game time and 30's by halftime . Regardless I think it's less than 7 pts either way. Hope both teams play well and come out injury free.4th n Goal wrote:Why would you not expect the passing game to be "normal"? Re: Week 11: #6 Fairland at #3 Wheelersburg
Well. Im not talking about the game burg n fairland played cause there's no argument. Burg won. Common opponents CG being the only 1 I think. Fairland actually played them better at CG and CG at burg. So that's my only argument that fairland could have a shot. And of course to get fbnut involvedfbnut wrote:Why are you comparing common opponents when they played each other already?youthsportsfan wrote:Since my Tigers are not playing , this will be the game to watch IMO.
