Wellston's 2 scrimmages are against Portsmouth and Zane Trace as usual. I dont know where you get your info, but a scrimmage against portmouth west was never scheduled or in the making.
Their was a scrimmage for tuesday the 13 at wellston and wellston cancelled we was told they had to many kids injured.
If there was not a scrimmage scheduled our coaching staff, players and parents sure did think there was.

Went to the meet the team tonight at alumni stadium. There is going to be a lot going on for the 100th meeting of the teams. It will be an all day event. In the field at the bottom of the high school hill will be inflatables for the kids during the day. Face painting by the cheerleaders. At the game a most spirited fans contest for both sides and a 25 yard kick or pass contest. Big cash prizes. Coin toss representatives from both schools from former football teams. So many things going on that I can't remember it all, but its going to be a great day with both communities coming together to celebrate the 100th meeting of the Rockets and Ironmen.

Whoever wins the war in the trenches wins it. I don't see Jackson rolling over Wellston this year. Who's playing QB for Wellston? Waldron or Womeldorf?

Lol, using the infamous line of Roy D. Mercer just "how big an ol boy r u" what is the average line size for them Rockets anyway? Please don't tell me 250 and 6'-2" or Jackson may have their hands full, cause we ain't such big boys lol

It's pretty close to 250 and 6"2 we have some big young men in the trenches

Well then it may indeed come down to speed vs size then. Kind of a reverse situation as Jackson always been associated with downhill running game...roles may be a little reversed this year. Most everyone seems to be predicting a close game and sounds like it will be a great matchup. Anyone know how many programs in the state of Ohio have had 100 matchups?

This one could get ugly. From what I witnessed, Wellston has some issues on offense.
