What happened? I heard radio guys talking about personal fouls and did an assistant coach get ejected? Couple from ny get hurt? Just curious to see what happened. Good luck to ny the rest of the way out.

Anyone have any details(Link)
I know Center is down but also knew they play in an area with some very solid teams.
I thought the Buckeyes would win this one.

Sounded like NY got dominated against the run. LC had over 400 yards rushing. NY had 246 rushing yards but in reality it was 400 to 100 yards If you just count Varsity vs varsity

We got dominated up front. Liberty Center is a good team. They have some very very classy people in the program.
The game should have/could have been closer, but the Buckeyes made a lot of mistakes.
They gotta dig down deep to get the ship righted.

FEAR THE THREE!!!

What happened is we finally faced a couple of really good running backs and an O-line that would block on each play. In week one we only had to tackle one average back, and their line was horrendous. They are a one trick pony against a good team so it was easy for our defense. Week two their line was a lot better, but still not great and they had a really fine running back that ran harder and was faster than the week one opponent. Week three their O-line really got after us and they had two backs that were better than the one back the week cats have, and as good as NC backs. They could also pass better than week one and had better receivers. This was the first really good defense we faced this year also. Week one was well below average, and week two was a few notches better. Week three we faced a tough defense that liked to hit and had some athletes. No one was scared to tackle on that team. Our week one opponent just doesn't prepare us for our tough schedule and we suffer because of that for a few weeks afterward. Hopefully we learned from our mistakes and get the win this week.

See the post above. Playing the wee cats in week one is killing us. They do not prepare us for our tough schedule.

Nothing smells as bad as Glouster. I have to take three or four showers every time I even think of driving through that cesspool. And yes, playing the wee cats makes NY worse. We don't have to prepare for them nor practice hard. I don't even think they wear pads the week of that game. It makes our team lazy, and over confident. I would like to see the game moved to week 10 so NY could use it as a get-everyone-healthy game right before the playoffs.

That sounds likes ny should start taking every game serous one and three against the wee cats last four years.

for the showers i doubt you shower three or four times a year.

playoffs no need for a get healthy week just to watch a playoff game.

So basically what you are saying is that the Buckeyes only have a chance to win a game when the are playing extremely weak opponent. When you play a team that is only some what good you get your azz kicked.
