Week 6- River Valley (4-1, 1-1) @ Wellston (3-2, 0-1)

I may get booted for this and really i don't care. first off i wanna say hats off to the river valley players on the win. And they was some nice folks. But if every 1 really wants to pull their head's out of their as%s then they will admit THIS WAS THE WORST darn OFFICIATING GAME i have personally seen in a long time. every 1 always wants to say wellston is giving 14 at home well RV was giving atleast 9 at wellston lol which i mean 6 is still enough to win for RV but they would'nt have UP until 5 minutes left in the 4th RV had NO calls called against them whle wellston somehow got a flag EVERYTIME it was 3rd or 4th and 1 BULLSH%% Is what it was. anyhow GG rv and good luck the rest of the year and hopefully you all make a run into the playoff's and do good i will support you. But i still call alot of CRAP in this 1

I know your frustrated but use the 12 hr rule when posting about it, wait 12 hours before posting on a subject that is near to your heart! I think you will make a better decision.
I really doubt that any officials ever have intent on just flat out cheating a team.

Great win for the Raiders. Conditions appear to have made this a much different game than I expected. I expected RV to score more and definitely not pitch a shutout. In my opinion, this win is much bigger than the win against Nelsonville-York. 7-3 at the very least looks probable. Will 7 wins be enough to get in?

Great win for the Raiders. Conditions appear to have made this a much different game than I expected. I expected RV to score more and definitely not pitch a shutout. In my opinion, this win is much bigger than the win against Nelsonville-York. 7-3 at the very least looks probable. Will 7 wins be enough to get in?

The later you go in the season in high school football, the field conditions get worse even on turf and these high school kids start to wear down after week 5 offense starts to dwindle defense takes over. Sparling has gone from Joe Tiller to Woody Hayes, Hardway threw 7 times tonite completing 5 and he is winning!
He needs to get credit for learning how to work the clock and control the ball.

All that I ment was you keep posting these High predictions for teams to score in the 30's don't happen in HS when 2 good teams meet, i listened to RV Wellston tonight and Wellston had the ball for 9 possessions all night, hat was my point.

Not going down this road again. I didn't predict this game to be in the 30's. I did expect Wellston to be able to score some points. I wasn't at the game to know what kind of game RV played defensively, but I'm impressed by this shutout.
