I think they should have rethought the flood wall lol. Way to spend thousands of dollars that will always be affected by flooding. You will have constant step back because of it. And dont say it always has flooded, sure it has and thats why it looks the way it does. Common sense did not prevail in this project.

If you think they haven't had multiple companies and engineers come out and offer suggestions you're wrong. They're not just throwing away moneyJustusLeague wrote: Fri Jul 20, 2018 8:49 am I think they should have rethought the flood wall lol. offering suggestions is fine and dandy, but time for the old timers to get real, its a bad location, time to move on, but obviously you wont and eventually a bad flood will come and you'll start all over and say something about Tomcat or rutter pride.tomcat fan wrote: Fri Jul 20, 2018 9:59 amIf you think they haven't had multiple companies and engineers come out and offer suggestions you're wrong. The old stadium lasted for 75 years through several bad floods. I'm sure the new one will be just fine

I think this year they are having home bleachers and putting the wall around the side by the road. Sounds like they are doing it in phasesthetitanic wrote: Sat Jul 21, 2018 6:02 pm So what’s going to be done for this upcoming season? Just bleachers??

Re: Trimble Football Stadium
Ok, this came from a committee member for the stadium. They are going to have bleachers on both sides of the field. They will also put up a new 6 foot exterior fence. Also a sidewalk will be put in on the park side of the field to be ADA compliant. It will go from the home set of bleachers to the visiting side.
Then, at the end of the season they will remove the current lights and begin the process of replacing them with new Musco lighting. They will then remove the interior fence and crown the football field. This person said this is a long term project that will go based on funds raised and potential donors. The more money they can raise, the more they will do. Also, they made it clear that the bleachers will be elevated 5’ above the ground and the bases for the bleachers were driven 50’ deep. So flooding will be irrelevant.

Re: Trimble Football Stadium
Does anyone have a up date on the stadium?Last word I herd was some the steel was on back order,if true looks like we will be standing in the mud watching.Hope this is false info.

Re: Trimble Football Stadium
This is from a person on the committee that I spoke to today. The concrete caps are being poured. They will be there again tomorrow. Should be finished in a week or so. Then, the bleacher company will be in sometime between the 10-13th to start the constrution of bleachers. Everything will be done in time for game 2 against Belpre.

Yes I got a up date last night should be complete on the 21st.Now did not say just bleachers so dont know if that means side walk to other side and new fence to,but should only take 3 or 4 days to do each one of those.Hopefully weather doesn't screw with us.
