Re: Region 11 #7 Jackson @ #2 Granville
Granville's "grass" field is a mess. Saw pics today. Should be a mud bowl.
Re: Region 11 #7 Jackson @ #2 Granville
Granville’s home side doesn’t look to great either.
For Jackson fans traveling to game there is a separate set of bleachers for the band so what is shown will hold a lot more fans with not having to squeeze band in also.

Just checked my weather app. Granville has a flood watch from Wednesday eve till Friday morning. Would surely make for a sloppy field for sure.

This could be moved to historic "White Field" in Newark (about 3 mi.) If It's too bad but the decision would have to be made asap you would think ?

If Jackson can shut down the passing game of the blue aces I see it being tough for the aces to move the ball. Jackson comes into this game with a lot of momentum, especially on the defensive side. They need to limit the big plays for Granville and control the pace of the game. This game will come down to how Jackson's defense plays.

Visitor side definitely looks small for a usual Jackson crowd. Only about 10-15 rows of bleachers from 40yd line to 40yd line. Hope the Ironmen take it to them!!

I know this is Newark HS home field. Years ago I know that I also watched Newark Catholic play here. Mayby they didn't have there own field, Im not sure?FANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 8:42 am This could be moved to historic "White Field" in Newark (about 3 mi.) Couldn't they move it to Denison University? Nice field and plenty of seating.VetteMan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 9:39 amI know this is Newark HS home field. White is home field of both Newark and Newark Catholic. Denison has a home game Saturday against Wooster so I guess that would be another alternative but who knows. Both fields are close, have turf and plenty of seating.Sunoco wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 9:52 amCouldn't they move it to Denison University? Thank you! This was a few years ago when Newark Catholic was playing pretty good football.

Well, if you listen to some of the Gallipolis fans on their game thread, according to their logic, it must be a vast Jackson conspiracy if the game is moved to Newark.countywide35 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 3:17 pmok yes I just read where it is moved!! thnx for the quick update.........you are always on top of things Ironman92
Newark must be trying to steal Granville’s parking and concession money the same way Jackson is trying to steal gallipolis’ money. Lol
