Sounds like you're predicting an easy win for Shady. Yeah, the SVC will never be considered a stout football conference but the OVAC will never be confused with the MAC either. This will be closer than you think.
SVC will get smacked pretty good in this one Shady with the experience in the big show

You mean a 35-0 beatdown at Nelsonville.

I did a quick search on Shady's playoff history and wasn't very impressed, is this team better than the 2010 team that lost by 71 pts. ?
29-19, 2 time state runner up. Not very impressive is right, yeah they lost the 2010 Championship Game 77-6, but it was also the state title game, something that nobody from the SVC has ever played in.
A ton of those wins came in the weakest region in the state. Also what do those wins have to do with 2018 team?

I love this site. Administrators who put down every school that isn’t there own is a great time. Everybody sucks besides Fort Frye and Nelsonville-York. I get it now. Seeya, it’s been an experience.

HamPorter, what are you talking about ? Don't you understand that when you disrespect your opponent you will get some type of response.

Paint Valley fans typically travel pretty well so I'd expect a good showing

We filled Chillicothe with some help from some friends. That is a decent sized stadium.

It comes down to this IMO. Can Paint Valley shut down the pass? Can Shadyside shut down the run?

Newland can definitely sling it. Completed 62% of his passes this season. The PV offense is versatile.

PV has always been a run first team and they are this year too. But man he can spin the ball when needed.

His style reminds me a lot of Roethlisberger. Big kid that has the athletic ability to run it, but prefers to keep his eyes downfield to make a play. Only watched PV against SE this year, but his legs and arm were the difference in the game.

Agreed, I think Paint Valley may have an edge at QB position this week. Hope they can get the win.
