Yes. Ashland canceled next week
If Rockhill is having covid problems(seen a couple post) Portsmouth might be looking for a game next week as well.. could be a chance to bring that game back for a year.

Just to set the Record straight Russell doesn’t have any 5th year seniors. The Russell board of education voted not to have a Do over year. Logan Lundy who was Russell qb transferred to Raceland last year and is a true junior this year. Russell qb #8Bradley Rose this year is a true senior.
Bradley also plays Defensive tackle.

Good Luck to both teams and hopefully we have an injury free game.

Russell is missing Ethan Oborne rb/db and Matthew Haggard Ol/Dl who are both out for the year.

Ethan has a brother who plays as well his name is Doug.

I watched Russell last week against Raceland. Russell is balanced on offense. They however gave up some big runs up the middle at times and had some stupid penalties. Namely unsportsmanlike conduct not once, but twice after Raceland got flagged for holding. If they eliminate the penalties and take care of the ball, they will be a tough team to stop.

Sounds like I was wrong about Russell playing a good game against Wheelersburg 😳

I think on the Kentucky side Russell will be Okay in 3A and make a good run in the playoffs. 3A is kind of down this year in Kentucky. Good luck to Wheelersburg the rest of the season and playoffs.

Russell is actually a 2A school numbers wise in KY but they play up because of less travel time in the District. Most of the teams around in KY around Russell are 3A numbers.

I heard the siren going off when I got home. I bet the ambulance had a horrible time getting onto the parking lot.

Praying for him and his family!!

First prayers for the family and friends of Mr. Kershner.

Working on my article for this one.

One thing that stood out to me was how open the Russell receivers were all night long.
