Chillicothe 7 - 21 Jackson 2022 FAC Championship
Re: Week 10 Jackson @ Chillicothe FAC Championship
This should be a good game and it's going to be a heck of a battle in the trenches of Chillicothe has a good OL. The loss of Lee has been exactly as I feared just too much of a blow to this team that kid made it all go. Since his injury Chillicothe has lost and had to dog fight a win against Hillsboro. I don't know that I'll go as far as saying WCH score, that was just crazy, but these 2 have played a lot of close games and Chillicothe has pulled off the upset before on Jackson. I think given all of this and what Jackson is doing I think Jackson takes this by 21, Chillicothe backing their way into the playoffs at this point.

BUT with the FAC on the line I think Chilli can make it interesting. Big week of practice needed. I still like Jackson, but would not be surprised to see the Ironman to squeak one out.

Re: Week 10 Jackson @ Chillicothe FAC Championship
Do what it takes to Get better this week at practice.
Jackson since the first scrimmage has gotten better every week. Every week they find an area to improve on.
That’s what good football teams do.
We don’t wanna share the FAC title and especially don’t want to share it with Chillicothe.
Whatever it takes this week

We’ve had the big turnover numbers but not sure we ever had 3 or 4 and other team had 0? Tri Valley? Ironton? I know thru 3 games Jackson had 10 turnovers and opponents 7
Re: Week 10 Jackson @ Chillicothe FAC Championship
I know Ironton had multiple turnovers too I’m not sure about tri valley I can’t remember. But it seems we’ve had about 1 or 2 turnovers every game. And we aren’t afraid to get holding calls to kill drives. If we play like we did last week we will be tough to beat
Re: Week 10 Jackson @ Chillicothe FAC Championship
Early in the game though we were 1st and goal and had back to back holding calls but Winters made a great scramble and throw to Butcher….that was big. Penalties and turnovers swing momentum and momentum is huge in these gamesIronmen34 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 1:55 pmI know Ironton had multiple turnovers too I’m not sure about tri valley I can’t remember. Yeah when you get those holding calls like that it’s like you have to beat the other team and yourself. That won’t work against good teams and Chillicothe is a good team this year. If we can ride the wave of last week the rest of the year I like our chances this week and in the playoffsIronman92 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 1:58 pmEarly in the game though we were 1st and goal and had back to back holding calls but Winters made a great scramble and throw to Butcher….that was big. Possible matchups?Ironmen34 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 2:28 pmYeah when you get those holding calls like that it’s like you have to beat the other team and yourself. I would expect Bart to use his SEC talent. Was shocked Friday night that WCH never even made an attempt to target let alone hit their SEC recruit last Friday night.

Over on the “FAC 2022” thread. There’s possible scenarios if the playoffs started week 10.

Off the game for a minute and onto the FAC itself. Far as FAC football and schools headed to the post season is SOLID. Future of FAC football is alive in well.
Not only on the high school level.
But I’m the Power 5 as well. FAC sendin some kids to top notch football programs at the next level.

I agree about Bart, he will use what talent he has at his disposal. He has been a very good coach for a number of years, even though one poster didn't think so. His coaching is another reason that I could see a very tough close ballgame.countywide35 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 4:10 pm

Good coach , good team , some elite talent. Of course it will be a good game .
Re: Week 10 Jackson @ Chillicothe FAC Championship
Been saying this all year if you don't know his number you wouldn't ever find him. Any division one type of talent like that should jump on the screen in this area.Ed Gennero wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 3:39 pmThank you , been watching film, trying to find him.
