There is no problem just need to clean some things up don't make stupid mistakes and hold on to the ball.
Even with all the miscues Ironton dominated a team that came to play I think this was a game Ironton needed to overcome their mistakes.
It's the playoffs and nothing can be taken lightly
All the turnovers and stupid mistakes are a problem and must be cleaned up to be a great team. They have great talent but at times do not play up to the talent. For people who want to come down on me just think of how you react to the other Ohio team with great talent. The Ohio State University football team. Talk is talk but what matters is on the field play as the playoffs come. Learn and improve don't keep making the same mistakes. Thinking they can always flip the switch and win the game.

Tonight they did as I said earlier I hope they got it out of their system.
And in all honesty this is the best and deepest Ironton team Penelton has had and next year has a chance to be better.
But one step at a time one game at a time.

I'm sure everyone would've been devastated if you walked out. You are the very cornerstone of that fan base and program.

Many people have said at different times this year they have gotten that out of their system. Now they are to the point of 1 game and done. Great to pump up the team and pat them on the back that everything will be alright. The ones that can change this are the players. Their responsibility which has come up in the past playoff games Pendleton has coached. So being the best and deepest team doesn't mean much if they lose a playoff game. Fundamentals the little things matter in this team game. Which comes up in the topic on the MAC schools on here.

This past game it could have easily been 28 - 21 at halftime. As this was a game between 1 - 16. Sure it ended with a blowout. The games get harder and teams get better. Mistakes can be the end of the season. Enjoy the season

Okay. I may have been dramatic yesterday. But I just really want this team to win State.the comment came from a good place. Embarrassing wasn’t the right word to say. I should have said this won’t win it all. Can we afford to turn the ball over like this against prep? I highly doubt it

If IHS plays to their ability, I don’t think there’s a team in D5 that can beat them. But they have to avoid the mistakes that have haunted them over the years.

Early in the season, this IHS team looked like they had finally moved past the turnovers, penalties, etc that have bitten them in big games. However, in a few games of late, the mistakes have returned. Haven’t been a problem because of IHS’s talent, but must avoid making these errors against HP and beyond.

Believe you also said you wanted to walk out, you're either all in with a team or you're out. When you say I want to walk out that is a fan that isn't all in with a team and you come on and say I just want them to win state, so you'd jump back on the bandwagon then?? If they go out and lose in the playoffs are you walking out on them that night?? You only sticking around if they're winning, way to represent a "fanbase". Just stay home, I don't think anyone needs/wants that kind of negativity at a game
