I would love to see the game at Jackson because the away stands at Portsmouth can’t hold the Burg fans.

I'll drive it if I have to but.......why? I know one thing...Rooster's in Waverly loved seeing Ironton in town...it was packed with Tiger fans..

I nailed the outcome of tonight's HP game, including a running clock in the 4th qt but...Burg? they worry me :o

It tickles me seeing some of the predictions from neutral schools talking and telling what Ironton needs to do to win...they're so....well, generic.... it quacks me up! they're usually just......'football cliche's'
You mean like “house money’ ? Lol I hate that one.

The trolls haven’t made it on the board yet but they are coming. Don’t let them fool you. Real Burg fans are excited to watch this game and we are hoping for a victory. We know the burg kids will be prepared and play hard but by we also know football and understand that Ironton is really good and it’s going to take burg all four quarters to make a go at it.

Pirates under dogs for sure in this one. I really think Ironton has way too much this year and has a real shot at the championship.

But, that’s why they play the games.

Wheelersburg run game is what has been working and I just don’t see them lining up and winning the line of scrimmage for four quarters.

Run the clock. Tigers big over "Superior coaching & culture." Burgs too one dimensional and can't win the Los for four quarters. Fighting Tigers roll and 1 and 15 combined becomes 1 and 16 combined in 4 seasons.

Credit to burg for making it to the Regional championship game, We all know Burg will be a 3 score underdog but burgs coaching staff needs to be respected for a major turnaround this post season.

Not taking a shot at Burg, but why are so many of you acting like it’s some great coaching job that they got in at 6-4 and are a different team now? They were never a bad team and were never going to miss the playoffs, they were always going to be in this game unless they ran into Ironton or HP the round prior. Burg went 6-4 and other than the Cincinnati team maybe being 50/50 they lost 3 games to 3 teams they were expected to lose to. Everyone knew they had a tough schedule and it would help prepare them for the playoffs. 6-4 Burg looked weird but Burg is Burg they’re always going to be in the thick of things and here they are. I’m not sure there was a major turnaround, they won the games they were supposed to, and just like most teams got better and stronger as the season went on.

The credit goes for their changes to the offense. Went from pass first to run first. If this change wasn’t made, they wouldn’t have beaten Barnesville.

But where this will really pay dividends is next year. Burg will be returning their entire offense. Need to stick with this run focused O and improve on the play action.

15 seed St Johns is in the regional final in division 7. I think region 26 or 25.

always exciting to get another shot at Ironton, they’re beatable but it’s going to take a perfect, mistake free outing from Burg in all aspects. Overall I think Ironton depth and speed will be too much. 41-14 Ironton.

But boy I’m proud of this pirate team and staff to keep improving and taking one game at a time.

This game is going to be a slober knocker. Both teams have improved over that first game. I look at Wheelersburg and Ironton as more of a rivalry than Portsmouth and Ironton. Heard a rumor that these two will not meet next year. I certainly hope this is just s rumor. I think the score of this game will be 24 to 21. The winner I pick is the team who scores 24. JMO!

I feel like South Point is too much in favor for Ironton but same way for Burg in Portsmouth.
Does South Point seat more?
