Who's impressed? Read the thread..most of us thought the Chiefs would win. And guess what..they did. If that's the excuse you want to use for losing..have at it..excuses don't help you win games. We were impressed with our Lancaster and Pick North win though!

I've read all over Seops where so n so team looked ahead or looked past this weeks opponent, as an excuse for a loss or not playing up to their potential.

First off, you are belittling the kids of both school's for making the comment. They both work their tails off each and every week for one thing, to win on Friday Night. This isn't College, this isn't the NFL. This is High School football, you put your best 11 against mine and may the best team win. Most schools have their best athletes playing both ways, you'll not see that in College or the NFL.

Secondly, if you sincerely believe your favorite school overlooks an opponent, I don't think you have played one down in High School football (past or present).

Of course, we arm chair quarterbacks are guilty as hell in overlooking opponents and for making excuses. All good/great teams must overcome adversity to reach their TEAM goals! They don't whine or make excuses. They make adjustments, to set their team up to give them the best opportunity for success. It is us, the FANS, who continually make excuses for the teams WE follow.

You just can't take a compliment, can you? I'm giving your guys all the credit in the world for their effort in last night's game. You got beat by a better team. Should we have won because we're bigger? Absolutley. And we did just that. Look, you guys were the team on the schedule. You're a league opponent. The kids on the field can't help that. All they can do is play the game and they did. Move on already.

Is this seriously still going on? Thank you certain Logan fans for showing the class you have following the game last night and my apologies on behalf of the Ironton fans who have not shown any. BOTH teams played their hearts out and put on a good show for all of us watching in the stands. I wish my Tigers couldve pulled it out, but unfortunately they didnt. I am proud of their effort and they showed why they are the FIGHTING TIGERS, not the "tiggers" as some have decided to call them.

FT 45,
I don't know why certain people are still playing this game over again the day after. Thanks for your sentiments on behalf of the Logan posters interested in talking, not blustering. Neither team has anything to apologize for about the effort both exeerted last night. Logan and Ironton better concentrate on the remainder of the season or we will both be sorry. This game and series is over...MOVE ON everyone.

Just got home after spending the night in Logan.

First off, I commend the Tigers on a well played football game. IHS had a great game plan defensively and their kids executed well. Defensively, the Tigers are MUCH better than last season.

With all that said, I want to say GREAT job to the Chieftains. Logan overcame a TON of adversity, overcame a lot of mental errors, and got better on each side of the ball as the game went on.

While Ironton dominated the second quarter, Logan took control of the 4th quarter to win the game. The Logan coaching staff made great adjustments after the second quarter, and found holes in the Ironton defense.

Namely, Logan had a lot of opportunities to run the football. Ironton was dropping so many guys in coverage that there were opportunities for running the ball. And when Logan starting taking advantage of that, the passing game opened up as well.

Logan had great games from the D-Line and Linebackers, especially Robinson and the interior linemen Russell, Dement, and McCray. Angle played a great game at linebacker, and his interception was an All-Ohio play.

Offensively, Logan adjusted well and the line improved in the second half. Monning (#88) dominated the first quarter and a half, but after that, Tim King (#70) did a great job of taking care of the edge rushers.

It's time for Logan to re-focus on Zanesville. Good Luck to the Tigers the rest of the way.

sss...
if its a joke, not a call for bodily harm, state it.. be clear.. pretty balanced response for a bi-polar condition diagnosed by yourself, not even in real time. it was hateful, uncalled for, and done even after i knew ironton would not win as the final seconds ticked. what you stated is uncalled for and you should be bannned, and a great example of why you say you dont post much, just read the posts.. People who read are usually heads above others that dont and make significant decisions in what they say or do. i only question your post, because you called for harm to another team while they were down... u should be banned, or just be a reader of the forum, cause your less than twenty posts, well, lets just say the one that caught my eye, was uncalled for... good luck chiefs, good luck tigers...injury free and no intended threats verbal by a fan or physical by a player..

This was a heck of a game. The Tigers really stepped it up it on friday night. Really hard fought game by both teams which can only benefit each other come playoff time.
