WK1 Wheelersburg @ Ironton
Re: WK1 Wheelersburg @ Ironton
Tigers will have the subs in by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Ironton wins this year!! Great week of practice by a very good Ironton team. Prediction. Ironton 37 Burg 0. Tigers are due!! They will be pumped and ready for anything Burg throws at them this year. Tigers defense will get nasty!!

Anyone who really thinks that Wheelersburg or Ironton will get blown out, shutout, or lose by more than 2 TD's is out of their mind!
Whoever wins it will be close!

I will take Ironton and the OVC in this one.
But the Tigers had it handed to them twice last year by the Pirates so like the Nature Boy Ric FLair would say, "To be the man you have to beat the man", so the question is can Ironton be the man again?

Re: WK1 Wheelersburg @ Ironton
I know a lot of good folks in Ironton and I can tell you that, from what I am hearing, the O line is good and the backs are better than last year.
X Factor in this one will be the QB's performances on both teams as neither of them have played much (if at all) in a real varsity contest while under center.
I expect one team to make a couple major mistakes in the first half before they settle in and that will ultimately be the difference in the game. I would give Ironton the edge on offense and Burg the edge on defense. This game could be a final of 8-7 or it could be a track meet. Who knows going into week 1!
I am anxious to see how good Paladino is this year, and at 200lbs, is Burg tough enough to keep hitting him. Something has to give.
I am going with Ironton because it is tough to beat a good team 3 straight times in a year.
Burg 21
Ironton 35

Right now, podcasting is free from government regulation. Podcasters don't need to buy a license to broadcast their programming, as radio stations do, and they don't need to conform to the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) broadcast decency regulations. That means anything goes -- from four-letter words to sexually explicit content. Copyright law does apply to podcasting, though. Podcasters can copyright or license their work -- Creative Commons is just one online resource for copyrights and licenses.
