"point pleasant is the first game of the year for the blue next year as well as point if im not mistatking. I will tell you this, point pleasant will be 1-0 after the game is over. Take it how you want to. They have 2 backs that will go for 100 plus yards against the blue next year, point by 2 tds in this one."
Last season was a huge step ahead for our program even though the record did not reflect, but I belive it's too early to make predictions like that.
Our offense struggled a lot at times last year, mostly attributed to a new system being put in place, but I believe strongly that the kinks will be ironed out on offense this season. We'll return our top 4 rushers from a season ago: Senior FB Tyler Grant (two-time All-State selection, at least he will be when the selections come out), senior Derek Mitchell, senior Caleb Wasonga, and sophomore Allan Wasonga, who averaged about 8 yards a carry in his short time on varsity. All of these backs rushed for at least 350 yards last season with Grant rushing for nearly 900 on the season. On paper, we look extremely strong in the backfield but at this point it's too early to go with any kind of predictions on paper.
Next season should be a huge step ahead for this program and for second year head coach David Darst, but things are not handed to you on the football field, you have to earn them. I have followed this program for a while now and I know what kind of work is being put in by not only the kids but our coaches as well, so I know how hard everyone here is working to get this program back to where it can be and I firmly believe it will be sooner than later when we are back.

We return Chase Liptrap, Eric Veith, Clay Krebs, and Matt Thompson up front. The later two were our tight ends all season long and will more than likely move into linemen positions next season. Krebs was the strongest kid on the team as a sophomore and was listed at 6'4 243.
There are several underclassmen who played during the season and several kids who played defense only as sophomores who will be stepping into positions on offense as juniors.
With the weightlifting program that Coach Darst has implemented into the program, I have complete confidence we'll field a great offensive line. That is his speciality, after all.

hey Ralphie, I love your enthusiasm, pass that on to all of the boys who are playing and a lot of posters on here. You first have to beleive you can do it before you get the job done. Have fun posting on here, you are off to a good start. I know you are a student, stay positive and try to be respectful of everyone on here but dont back down either. GO BLUE
