i think their only non-conference game that looks somewhat hard is Coal Grove. but Oak Hill has been getting alot better the past couple years. River Valley they shouldnt worry hemselves over. they should beat Wellston. Huntington Ross i dont know alot about. the league schedule is always brutal. but they should be good.

Coal Grove football: 24 OVC Championships, 7 state playoff apperences, 2 regional championships, 2 final four apperences

I wouldnt be surprised to see Minford go into conference play undefeated. The toughest challenge will be Coal Grove. I think the Falcons could end up 8-2 or better. 7-3 at worst. All depends on the off season though.

I think with the new schedule they have a very good chance at coming into the conference schedule at 5-0 or 4-1 at worst,(Coal Grove being the only team that i feel we could loose to) after that we should handle NW, Valley, and West (Srry just feel that they are a bit overrated coming into this year). Then Waverly and WBurg being the Conference teams Im most concered with.

I agree with Lone Ranger. West is over rated. Last year they were picked to be up in the middle of the SOC race but fell way short. I mean half the juniors on that team should have already been graduating with this years senior class. But newho. its still to early to tell. I hope Coach Triplett will get some discipline over there. Cause West needs alot of it. HEck why not throw in some SPORTSMANSHIP also.

Exactly the West team I saw last year was very undiscipline and yes they do have good backs coming back but imo the OLine was not very good and Bricker makes poor decisions. So until I see those things changed then I'll continue to say that West is not going to be as good as everyone thinks next year

I understand what your saying that West needs to prove something. But remember now how good of a team you had last year and we were tied at the half and really gave you a run with a bunch of sophs and juniors. We lost like 4 starters on both sides of the ball and our freshman class was outstanding. You lost alot. Were gonna be pretty good.

But also remeber how flat Minford came out in that first half and then remeber how they came out the second half and dominated(and despite what some may think emotion is a big factor in high school football) and our team returns plenty of talent as well so they will be pretty darn good themselves.

I know what you mean, both teams played flat considering what was on the line. What it and most of our games came down to was getting a push up front and defending the run. Our O and D lines just weren't strong enough. That will be alot different this year. A senior to be told me earlier today what others have been saying. Weight room turnout has been very good 30-40 every session and big improvements.

And what I meant was we lost 4 starters total I think.

The SOC is going to be tight next year, no doubt.

The SOC is going to be the most exciting conference next year IMO. I and II.

Yes I talked to him the other day he said he will be fine for the season just has to wait a few more weeks until he is fully recovered hes not even at school right now so itll probably be around the time he goes back to school then he will start working out with the team again

Nice to hear that he is doing ok. Sounded like a nasty accident he had. It will be huge for the Falcons to get him back. He is a very talented player.
