any predictions for warren record this year? i think they could at least go 5-5. This would be a huge boost from the last couple of years and really jumpstart this program.

I sure hope the boys' goals/expectations are more optimisitc than their fans'... not sure I would work too hard during this off-season if I thought I was going to lose as much as I won! Pretty sure there hasn't been a block or tackle made yet for the '08 season, why not win them all!?!

A defensive back's best friend is a good pass rush, Warren's DB's had no friends last year. Nor did they have any help in the flats. I'm not saying they played good defense but the whole team is to blame for most of the "melt downs". Some of the coverages were quite confusing also.

lets just say this. warren needs to improve a lot between now and august to be a contender...offense and defense need to improve, make plays, and get the job done. all 11 need to work in order to see success.

Mr. Schob is student teaching in the district so I would say its quite possible that he was asked of his interest in being an assistant somewhere in the program...as for Mr. Gribble, I wonder if Caldwell's new hire tried to entice him to rejoin him up there!?! :-D

Andy would be a GREAT addition to the Warrior program. And he might just be able to get more kids interested. I know that he is at least entertaining the idea. If he would get a teaching position in the district he would coach at WHS for sure.

Andy Schob would be an asset...great with kids, lots of enthusiasm. Rumor in Tiger town is that Coach Spicer's school job has been cut this week. Big M, you know anything?

it was but there isnt a another job at the highschool for him so he is leaving us which sucks becasue i dont think the board will hire a new coach any time soon. Coach spicer taught at the high school so he was already there to help with workouts and to talk about just fundamentals.

i m also afraid that some other coaches wont be returning which is bad also but im sure coach schenk and coach murphy will be back and good ol coach may

with coach schob it is toatally up to him of what he thinks is best for him but We all love him here at marietta and he will take that into consideration when he decides but i expect him back becasue i need a coach to give me a hard time about the little things  Coach schob is one of those guys that it takes alot for him to get mad and he always see the better side of things so i hope we get him back becasue we will need him to help adjust to some need things like maybe a new offense system and new coaching style different from what spicer did.

Hoping for the best for the team.

There are many MHS grads living in the Warren School District with very close ties to the Warrior sports programs.

I think Warren should look into getting back into the TVC and bring somebody like Marietta with them. That should liven up the Ohio division.

Mister B if Warren and Marietta entered the league you could say goodbye to having any success whatsoever.

Yeah, his position at the school was cut which forced him to have to leave his coaching position due to the money factor. But I really don't think Andy Schob would coach at Warren, c'mon now he graduated from Marietta ;-) . We need you Andy! Come back home.

I think that if the Marietta faithful want to see success this year, they better rally around getting coach Schob to stay at Marietta. Coaches not involved with your program taking the job will most likely mean change and that is rarely successful the first few years. STAY HOME COACH SCHOB.

Captains, keep your team together, players stay motivated, and good luck this year.
Fans, stay positive and support your team.
