Wheelersburg leads now 13-3

Valley fumbled the opening kick of the half at the 11 yard line, Burg scored 4 plays later. SPECIAL TEAMS have killed the Indians ALL year.

Valley did block the PAT....

Wheelersburg leads 20-3 in the 3rd....

Valley has played well, but mistakes have just killed them. Only having 5 sr's this is going to be a team to watch in the next few years!!

Play hard and finish out the game with pride!

Valley with 3 turnovers now, Burg has 14 points off of the 3...looking for more.

Burg now up 34-3 and playing up to their potential on both offense and defense. I think Valley only has one or two 1st downs the second half.

Good luck to Valley. Burg plays B White, Hopper, J shank, Hacker, and Robertson and the kicker White as senior starters. The rest are juniors and sophs. Burg looks good next year!

Great job Pirates. Wasn't the best looking first half I've ever seen, but still went in with the lead at half (thanks to the gift from the Indians) and that just seemed to take the wind out of Valley after that. Burg, after being down 3-0, went on to score the next 34 points of the game.

Great job Indians in making a game of it in the first half. Nothing to be ashamed of out of the Indians tonight. Hope No. 7 for the Indians is okay. You could tell he was in some obvious pain as he was going off the field.

Some huge hits laid out by Bryan White tonight. One on a block and two on defensive hits.

Block of the game has to go to Tyler Craigmiles on Jordan Schankweiler's TD run in the 3rd. Tyler was the lead blocker on the run and made not one, but two great blocks on the play that got Schank into the endzone. I'm sure that will get some "oohs and aahs" when they all watch game films. Very impressive how he leveled the first defender and then came off of him and hit a second guy. Very nice young man, very nice.

Nice defensive game also by Nick Kemper. Seemed like he was in on a lot of big defensive plays tonight, none more evident then the back to back sacks he had. Nice game Nick.

Burg needs to strap it up a little tighter next week and come out a little more inspired then they did tonight. Lot of marbles on the line next week.

Good luck Pirates.

I agree on Tylers two blocks on one play to spring Jordan for the score. He leveled the first player and then came off that block and put the second kid on his rear as well. There was definitely some hard hits being laid by both squads tonight, but those two had to be the best of the game.

BG77, I was saying to my brudder that there were 3 indians falling backward on that play. Tyler had 2 and someonbe else got a good shot in also. Could have been White the way he was leveling people in the 2nd half.
