zbd,
Huff was injured on the first play of the Ironton game and never returned, which means that he has been out for the Ironton and Chillicothe games. He was diagnosed with a sprained neck. His status for this week is still unknown.

Do you remember how to get to Jackson's old stadium? If so, it's very easy.
I'm assuming you'll come down SR 93 and travel through Wellston to US 32. You'll get on US 32 toward Jackson and go about 8 miles. You'll want to then take the Jackson-Oak Hill exit that will put you back on SR 93/Main Street. You'll turn right off the exit ramp and proceed down Main Street into Jackson past Pizza Hut, Bob Evans, Dairy Queen and Burger King. You'll eventually see Auto Zone on your right. At that stop light, you'll want to make a left onto Huron Street. If you follow Huron Street, you'll go past the Jackson baseball field and then be able to see the old stadium. At the stop sign by the baseball field, you can turn left onto Vaughn Street and proceed up the hill. The school and stadium are up top.
I'm not that great at giving directions, but hopefully those will work.

For anyone that doesn't know it, I think 93 south is still closed from Logan to Ewing.
Will need to take 328 to get back on 93 south after Ewing.

Ironman02
Thanks for the Info on Huff I hope he recovers fully. A neck injury is nothing to play with, If not handled correctly could lead to on going problems. I wish him the best.

Re: Week 9: Logan (8-0, 4-0) AT Jackson (5-3, 2-3)
First off, let me say that it is nice to have Jackson on the schedule again. What a rivalry the two schools have had over the years. I always hated playing Jackson in soccer because it wasn't just the players you had to beat;) And don't get me started on some of the parents..yikes!! Fortunately I am a red headed stepchild so I took no offense. LOL
Anyhoo, at the beginning of the year I had Jackson as my sleeper team and for a while I thought they would pull through but things happen. I have no doubt that the Ironmen are saving there best game for this Friday but I'm afraid that this time their best just won't be enough. The Chieftains IMO will be looking to send a statement to Chillitown via a solid thrashing of the Ironmen. If Logan manages to not shoot themselves in the foot with silly mistakes, this one will be over early somewhere in the neighborhood of 49-7. A couple Logan turnovers and it'll be 35-7.
GO CHIEFS!!!

For those wanting to avoid Jackson traffic on Friday afternoon/evening don't take the RT 93 Exit to Jackson.....go past it and stay on rt 32 WEST for another 3/4 mile and turn right at Barnett Ford/Mayhew RD.......take it 1/4 of a mile and turn right on RT 139....go 1 mile and school is on right.
This route will save some minutes if you are not going to eat in Jackson and will save you many minutes on your trip home.
Safe Travels

Yeah, definitely less traffic that way on a Friday night. Main Street is the most familiar route with a bunch of landmarks, so I went with that. If you're not stopping anywhere to eat, Ironman92's route will save you a few minutes.

Does Jackson have MORE RESPECT than IRONTON?
I havent seen this much non-crap from Logan fans since I have been on the PREPs!
With Huff out, Jackson has no chance in hades.
Logan will roll like a steam engined locomotive! jackson will wish they were in the SOC!
There, thats what i am used to from the Logan faithful. Glad I did it for them. Cant let this post get too mushy!!
Unbeleivable!!!!

Actually, those who give respect get it.
Jackson and Logan have always had a strong rivalry, from 1990-2005 I think Jackson was pretty much "THE" game on Logan's schedule. You knew if you won the game, you were probably going to win the league title. Both sides respected each other, and looked forward to the game.
You also obviously didn't read the Logan/Zanesville, Logan/Marietta, or Logan/Warren threads. Not a lot of "trash talking" on those either - once again, respected fan bases on both sides.
The problem arises with the fan bases who seem to want to give Logan NO credit besides the fact that "they are big."
Jackson is a great football program and a community that loves that their football.
