We will take Two seasons of 8 @ 2, with back to back playoff apperances, and build on them!
When you get the experience of getting there, You will get better, but first you must get there!!

The Comment for 2009 starts 12/8

This better be Minford's year! Those who have officiated games at the lower levels are telling me that we are in for some long seasons in the near future.

Proud of Coach Daniels and the progress he and his staff have made in Minford Football!!! Good luck, hit the weights hard, boys. This coming season is yours for the taking. Let's take it and leave the rest of the SOC 2 eating crow.

We will just have to hit the recruits, I mean transfers, a little harder in the future! :122246

I think with the program in place, Minford will be fine for many years to come. I expect Minford to be good this year, but I also think there is plenty of talent for years to come. Things are different in Minford now. Let's Go Big Red, put the work in for another good season, you can make next year whatever you want it to be.

So you would'nt have wanted Eli Parkes, Matt Slone, Steve Muncie, Ben Tuttle, or Jared Mattney off the 2000 team?

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the great Minford posters, players and coaches! Let's make this year one to remember. Even if Redman doesn't want Mark Slone running the football or Cheese blocking for him(these are not vintage Minford kids).

I do understand what your saying, and the heart and sole of this football team will always be Minford kids. However, you don't turn away kids that want to come here and play football. I have never read a Burg poster say, I wish these Minford kids would stay at Minford. :122249

Neither is #81. Born a Wheelersburg Pirate (well, born in Portsmouth but you know what I mean), bloodline is East Tartan blue, but found a home in Minford. May not have started out as a Falcon but I am glad he is and he has been since grade school.

Ditto on the Thanksgiving greetings to everyone.

Allthough we don`t live in the Minford Distric, we have attended there from day 1.
I`m not a Minford graduate, but if I could change things ............! I`m proud to be associated with them now !! We have a great group of Parents , and past graduates working to better this program every day!

Happy Thanksgiving to All !

Is the schedule any differen than last year? I kind of hope not because I think the non-conference teams will be much improved this year. If no changes, here it is:

River Valley Away
Wellston Home
Huntington Ross Home
Coal Grove Away
Oak Hill Away
Waverly Away
Wheelersburg Home
West Away
Northwest Home
Valley Home

This looks to be a tough schedule next year, I would like to see the 3 w's get broken up somehow for Minford's sake. I think the only team on that schedule that may not have a winnig record is huntington ross and northwest.
