Dayton Dunbar could pass us if they beat Thurgood Marshall and Meadowdale. Kenton Ridge would also have to win out for us to not make it in that scenario.

So basically it comes down to this:

Jackson doesn't get in at 10-0 if...

Dunbar wins out
Kenton Ridge wins out

Even if those two things happen, though, Jackson could still edge either of them out depending on each school's opponents' games. Obviously things get a little fuzzier at 9-1, but hopefully we don't have to deal with that.

Dunbar and Kenton Ridge both need a bunch of 2 win teams to beat all of their remaining opponents....nope.

Exactly. According to Drew Pasteur's projections, Jackson has a 1% chance of not making the playoffs at 10-0.

If Jackson is 10-0 they are in, but may have to travel. Im even thinking looking now at Region 12 that Athens could be 10-0 and have to travel also. They have a better chance of hosting if they beat NY, but very easily could still have to travel which would be unfortunate.

Athens at 10-0 will be the #4......Amanda beats LE or Shawnee loses to Tecumseh and Athens moves up 1 for each.

It's a tough region. And I'd probably favor LE over Amanda after watching both teams several times this season, but I guess you never know.

This region looks to be one of the toughest from top to bottom. There are still a ton of scenerios possible and things should clear up some after this week.

TONIGHT AT 7:00 ON FSN ... KETTERING ALTER (NO. 6 TEAM IN THE REGION) TAKES ON ROGER BACON ... MIGHT BE A GOOD CHANCE TO SEE WHAT ONE OF THESE TEAMS FROM UP NORTH LOOKS LIKE.

I would rather play a dayton team in first round , that way we could have a better chance at a se ohio team making it. With athens and jackson and even circlevill lelm could be south central ohio with some se ohio roots as coach

But if Jackson plays Athens or LE it guarantees one of them to week 12.

Roger Bacon with a nice drive after Alter had to punt on their first possession.

Bacon up 7-0 with 4:01 to go in the 1st Quarter.

It's 7-7....but this game is over. Bacon won't stop Penno.

Bacon is just 3-5 and D4....but they beat 5-3 D1 Western Hills and have played a tough schedule for a D4 school.

Wow. Bacon comes up inches short of tying the game at 14 before the half.

I'd say Alter will take total control in the second half.

Next week against Dayton CJ will be tough.

RB is 13th in their region....a win here would jump them near the top 8 and give them a shot.
