They came into Tanks very emotional and determined to impose their will. Alder plays with a bullys mentallity. They will try to intimidate and get in your head. They always look to get that extra lick in. The best way to beat a bully is to not back down and give it right back. Ironton has to start strong, match the intensity, execute, limit mistakes, and stick people. Look, Alder is well coached, talented and hungry. Not to mention Ironton has that long bus ride. Ironton will have to play possibly its best game to even have a chance. But it can be done.
----------------ttt, well said, this is a huge game. one of the most important ever, in fighting tiger football.we gotta pack the joint, and root for dem tigers.

I think if the field is fast it will favor Alder.

I said it earlier in the year after the Ashland loss the schedule could be good for the Tigers or very bad.

Ironton has that running back now and he is cat quick and with that full back make a good combination still say if they Tackle and that Line blocks could be a great game.

That is what football is tackling and blocking not running the ball.

Very rainy and very windy. Hopefully that will help Ironton as long as they can somehow hold onto the ball.

i think this year Ironton plays to there competition. this game will be better than most think. look for good things to come from this team this year. there backs are against the wall for the next three weeks but i think they will pull out of it.

Ironton 22
alder 08

One of the best pregame analyses I've read in a long time.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think Ironton will be able to score a bunch of points in this game. That'll put a lot of pressure on the defense, which in my opinion will have to play its best game so far.

If the same team shows up that played last Friday night the Tigers will be in trouble
