Logan school district draws from the entire county? What is the population of the county? Being from Scioto Co I could imagine a powerhouse of a program if you combine Burg, Ports, West, Minford, Valley, etc. Same goes for Lawrence County..............Logan should never have a down year, period......... I am neither a Burg nor an Ironton fan, but I have respect for the small communities (Burg, Ironton) that continually have success without the obvious benefit of great numbers.

Logan posters kinda remind me of the posters from Bellaire when they have a Davis playing QB. They go on and on about how great they currently are knowing they have no significant history and will likely be awful in the near future.

According to the US Census Bureau, there are 28,000 in Hocking County. It should also be noted that the western 4th of the County is part of the Logan Elm school district in Pickaway County (Logan is the only HS in Hocking County).

Lawrence County has 62,000.

Scioto County has 76,000.

So combining the programs you mentioned would not be comparing apples to apples. Hocking is a very small county.

Well it just sounds to me like logan is upset that ironton is leaving the SEOAL witch dosnt make since.Logan posters say they like to play good teams to prepare for playoffs but then turn around and talk about how ironton is no challenge for them.You would think logan would want them gone.unless logan just likes to play games they know they can win

Logan fans think it's FUNNY Ironton is leaving..we think it's BS they join the league..then when they can't succeed..they pack up and leave..that's why Logan fans bring it up. B/c Ironton acts like there so dominate..yet they leave a league b/c they can't win it after only what..3 years was it? It actually helps Logan out..b/c the past few years..we've had some teams use the excuse that we shouldn't be the SEOAL Champs b/c we don't play everyone in the league..now with Ironton gone..that resolves the problem!

You just have to know how to push their buttons. Mentioning Bellaire's dominance does the trick about every time. Bellaire has won the last 4 meetings (twice in the playoffs) and is 6-3-1 against the Tigers all time. It's funny that he would use them as an example for Logan considering that Bellaire has pretty much owned Ironton recently, historically, in the regular season, and in the postseason.

Also, I thought it was generally known that implies a joke, but apparently I was wrong. The next time I make a joke, I'll be sure to indicate it more thoroughly next time.

Not this Ironton poster. Bellaire has had alot of playoff success. That includes a state title appearance i believe. That goes way beyond a school that has an opponent dress in a swimming pool and have very little post season success.
As for week 5, "we'll show up." Either way, week 5 wont define our season. We all know that week 5 will define Logan's.

Ironton posters, no need to get upset live in the glory of the past and enjoy. Ironton fans need not lower your standards. I agree it was a embarrassment to dress in a swimming pool, just like playing basketball in a pit and dressing for football in the locking room pit. Again let me say! Ironton will run the table all the way to the State Championship !

They may not have won a State Championship but they know what it's like to play in it. I'ts a great feeling let me tell you. I was a Sophomore when Ironton won it's 1st State Championship in 79, oh what a feeling

As far as the actual game,if Ironton doesnt turn the ball over it might go either way(although I would pick logan even though Im a Tiger fan).Usually a very good D2 team will beat a very good D4 team but stranger things have happened.

Regardless of how the game goes, Ironton will have the longer postseason.
