The only good thing I see coming out of this game is there will be no muddy uni's to deal with. Gotta love the turf from a laundry point of view! Sad to say I predict a Pointers loss but am hoping for a win!! Pointers are very young and just don't have the personnel to do really well. I am looking forward to the next few years when I think we will be back on top again!

Going to be a wet one tonight so it will be who's running game is better and I would have to say the Grove looks pretty good.

fuzz, thats not good enough, if we play like that the rest of the year we can kiss any playoff hopes goodbye, we cannot keep playing down to our opponents, if we are truely better than them then we need to take them out early and coast the rest of the way. I know people like close games, just to keep themselves interested, not me, I would rather we blow people out the first two quarters and let the jv play the second half. I know some people won't like to see this negative tone about the Grove, but at this point we need to have some statement games, next week we should beat Rock Hill by no less than 4 scores, but we will probably keep them in the game all the way through which I predict will bite us this time, I will go ahead and say it, if Rock Hill is allowed to hang with us going into the second half next week they will win, we need to take them to the woodshed early and get it overwith fast, that way starters can sit in the second half.

South Point had 3 4th down and 1 yard to go but punted twice and threw a 20+ yard pass on the other. IMO game should have been closer than the score but bad play calling on south points part tonight.

I agree 400% with your take, 2trap. However, the unexpected loss by NY tonight and the forfeit by Minford open the door! From what I'm hearing, Fairland didn't look that impressive themselves against RV.
If Minford loses tomorrow, Coal Grove's odds improve drastically.
Despite all of this good news, you're absolutely right. CG didn't impress me at all up front tonight on either side of the ball. They manned up at the end, but sheesh!
