^Ummm Yabba, once again you don't know what in the Hell you're talking about. The winner of 1 & 8 plays the winner of 4 &5, and so on with the winner of 2 & 7 and winner of 3 & 6. So, if Minford is the number 1 seed and W'burg the number 6 or 7, they won't face each other until the regional final.

Last year in the regional quarter finals, if it was the case in the second round, as you are saying then why didn't West and Wheelersburg play in Jackson? And, as they are both greater Columbus teams, dontchya think Col. Bishop Ready and Libetry Union would have played in Columbus?

I thought that after the 1st round, the highest remaining seed played the lowest remaining seed and then the 2nd highest seed played the 2nd-lowest seed? :?

Drew Pasteur has updated his playoff chances for after week nine, already we are seeing the teams that will have to play their guts out and have a little luck this week

Region 19 Playoff Berth Probabilities
Projected Harbin cut-off 17.46
Oak Hill 100% (10W-20.5H-100%)
Monroe Central (Woodsfield) 100% (8W-19.4H-100%)
Fredericktown 99% (9W-18.0H-97% 10W-20.9H-100%)
Ridgewood (West Lafayette) 97% (9W-16.8H-54% 10W-19.0H-99%)
Minford 91% (7W-17.1H-70% 8W-20.6H-100%)
Wheelersburg 87% (7W-16.3H-26% 8W-19.5H-100%)
Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove) 78% (8W-16.3H-28% 9W-19.4H-100%)
Caldwell 54% (8W-17.8H-81%)
Liberty Union (Baltimore) 51% (8W-16.3H-8% 9W-19.9H-100%)
Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville) 43% (7W-16.0H-11% 8W-16.9H-43%)

I crunched the numbers and made somewhat educated assumptions about the winners in the week 10 games. Here is how I see it...

If Liberty Union and Coal Grove win....

1. Fredericktown 21.00
2. Oak Hill 20.80
3. Minford 20.60
4. Monroe Central 20.27
5. Liberty Union 19.85
6. Ridgewood 19.10
6. Wheelerburg 19.10
8. Coal Grove 19.05

9. Caldwell 17.90
10. Nelsonville 16.75

My calculations have the Burg and Ridgewood tying for the 6 spot.

If Liberty Union and Coal Grove lose and Caldwell wins, it would go...

1. Fredericktown 21.00
2. Oak Hill 20.80
3. Monroe Central 20.27
4. Minford 20.15
5. Ridgewood 19.10
5. Wheelerburg 19.10
7. Caldwell 17.90
8. Nelsonville 16.75

9. Liberty Union 16.25
10. Coal Grove 16.00

Fairland, Valley, West, Shenandoah, West Jefferson, and Newcomerstown could all throw this region out of wack. I still believe Ridgewood and Wheelersburg will have a tie decided by 3rd level points. This would change if Northwest could knock off Waverly or any other game going against the grain.

And to answer fuzzhead, there is no reseed at the regional level. 1-8 winner plays 4-5 winner and 2-7 winner plays 3-6 winner.

Caldwell needs to lose this week. If they make it in, they'll be by far the worst team in the mix.
Hopefully Shenandoah will knock them off.

You know vlad, you are correct. I forgot all about that is the way they are bracketing.

No reason to be a J/O about it. :-D , but I guess that is your nature ;-)
