Yes - my thoughts on the situation would have remained the same in all of those circumstances. . . and here's why:

Here's what's happened to the last 4 Region 19 Champions once they make the semis:

2008: Liberty-Union; Loss, 6-35

2007: Bishop Hartley; Loss, 6-28

2006: Amanda-Clearcreek; Loss, 6-34

2005: Centerburg; Loss, 7-23

How about Ridgewood and Coshocton dominates the vaunted Southeastern Ohio Football teams after being told week after week that we could not and would not compet let alone beat you.

Yeah. . . or that could be it. . .

Or it could just be the rational and logical assumption given 19's woes in the semifinals.

RIP Ridgewood

Ridgewood's season ends next weekend

Ridgewood is going to get absolutely slain

There's a snowball's chance in hades the Ridgewood will win

If you think Ridgewood is going to win this game, you're a few cans short of a six-pack.

. . . I can keep this up all day long. . .

There's nothing wrong with the fact that you feel Ridgewood won't win nor stating it, but fact remains, you wouldn't know class if it slapped you in the face, Fuzzhead.

Not enough seating, restrooms or parking. People were great in my opinion. To top it off worst field turf I have ever been on, it is comparable to the carpet people buy and put out in front of their campers. Ridiculous for a regional final in my opinion.

We had to play there in 2007 first round and the locker rooms were horrible. Unless they have added a ton of bleachers I can't imagine there being anywhere close to enough room, if I remember right the visitors bleachers are very off center of the field. Is there a stadium up there that is better? I can only hope they didn't have a recording of their superintendent pleading for a levy for 10 minutes as the pre-game music like it was in 2007.

I posted this in another thread but it ended up Youngstown Ursuline 48 Ridgewood 6. Sounded like a pretty ugly game. #5 Conrad was reportedly out in the first quarter with a probable concussion and he was able to re-enter the game after being cleared by EMS to only then go out again with a shoulder injury. Hopefully he is ok. Looks like another private school in the State finals.

Stadium upgrade 1 has been completed (turf, visitor bleachers 20 to 20, lights)... phase 2 (locker rooms, renovate pressbox/concessions, new weightroom, coaches office, meeting room, increased seating on home side etc.) has not been done.
