I am guessing that CW will be one of the fastest teams Logan has played.
Having only seen six of LHS's opponents I only am venturing a guess.
I think a lot of things are posted on SEOP that is some one's guess, but is presented as hard fact.

I think an argument could be made for Zanesville, but I expect Canal to be among the fastest teams Logan has seen.

Pickerington North was EXTREMELY quick on defense as well.

But it has been a long time since Logan has seen someone with the speed the Indians will bring on Friday night.

That's all very true but Logan isn't exactly stuck in molasses. I think they will match up well, speed-wise.

Logan's defense maybe the best ever in points allowed with 94 on the entire season. In my opinion the most important stat for Logan this year is zero. Zero points allowed in the first quarter while the chiefs have scored 103. Being able to go up by a touchdown or two early is huge against good teams, Canal included.

I don't think Canal can run on Logan.

Go Chiefs !!

Weak League compared to the SEOAL this year. OK. Enlighten me. How is the SEOAL tougher than the MSL this year? Amanda, Logan Elm and and Canal made the playoffs. I think all would have done quite well in the SEOAL. You played three playoff teams. They played three playoff teams.

You played playoff teams D-I Lancaster, D-I Pick North the first two games of the year and than got fat on the SEOAL which wasn't as tough as it might appear to be. I do believe that Logan will win because they are more talented. Strength of schedule will have nothing to do with it.

Logan's opponents combined record...48-52...Canal Winchester's opponents combined record...27-53.

Logan has played 2 D1 schools, 4 D2 schools, 3 D3 schools, and 1 D4 school. 6 of their 10 games were against schools equal to or larger than themselves.

Canal Winchester has played 1 D1 school, 2 D2 schools, 3 D3 schools, and 4 D4 schools...while losing to the only D1 school they played and one of the D4 schools they have played. Only 3 of their 10 games were against schools equal to or larger than themselves.

Not really a point..was just throwing that out there b/c Logan is always told how they 'feed' and 'beat up' on the smaller schools. Just glad we aren't the only ones.

Strength of schedule will have a lot to do with how prepared you are in the playoffs though.

My point is that your schedule was very good early on...8 weeks ago. Can't take that away from you. I just don't believe like Paladin that the SEOAL is a tougher league than the MSL. I think the SEOAL was weaker than it appeared to be recordwise. I believe it has been stronger in years past. Now that doesn't mean Logan won't beat Canal because I think they will.

Wins over 6 winning squads nothing to laugh at though. Canal only has four winners and one .500 and played and lost to only one DI school. It looks to me like their strongest performance of the regular season may have been a 7-0 loss to the stud Amanda Aces, whom I'll bet on to play Ironton in the Region 15 finals. As a matter of fact the only DII squads they had scheduled are 0-10 Hammy Town. and 3-7 Teays. The more looking into it I do, the uglier i think this game could be.

Guru -

Don't sleep on Zanesville either. Finished 9-1 and got left out of the playoffs.

I think Zanesville would have done alright in the MSL.

Still, I have respect for the MSL. I think they play some good football. It's pointless to compare leagues in all honesty.

Agreed, but Paladin LOVES the schedule game, so I thought I would play also.

Not getting into an MSL vs SEOAL thing here..no point in arguing that..everyone will have an opinion on it..I say..whichever team wins this week..that's the better league. :122249  But..5 of the 8 teams in the SEOAL finished with a record of 7-3 or better. That's not too shabby IMO.

There's some games Logan played where if the first string would have played in the third quarter they could have won 70-7. Logan beat every team very nearly how they should have beat them, and they usually pulled the starters at the half.
